So recently I'm making Medieval beta town. I saw most of medieval town has no roads..like straight roads from other non-medieval town and have prebuilt house for each residents. ex) /t freyview. I really want to make a town like their's. But I'm little worried about something. What if they grief my prebuilt houses and roads and other builds that are in their plots? Like in /t freyview, in residents plot, there are so many things like street lamps and other builds. But is it protected from the plot owners [residents] or something else. Making a town like freyview is one of my dream and some point I couldn't because some of these problems.... Please help me out on this problem...thank you!
[Sorry if I use ur town name.. @Muunkee @Lemoh and @marshallmafers]
I really need help with this problem....
Are you making the plots 16x16 (i think that's how large they are, not sure)?

I don't mind how big they are. I just want to know how prebuilt house work and work without roads and stuff like that. And I don't want residents to break prebuilt house and builds that in their plots. Like decorations
If they grief they are banned, but it's not rollback'd, just refunded
I don't care at all if you use our town as a guide, heh. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
I'm not going to go into exact detail as to how we actually built our town. Such secrets are reserved for town Architects. But what I can tell you is that it's easier than you think.

So it's basically prebuilt house but if they grief, they will be banned?
Umm honestly I don't like medieval/rustic in normal minecraft but if you turn on a texture pack no matter what material you use its looks extremely cool.... Try it

Make the roads a little squiggly, and a little straight.
Do what is best for your town. If you don't think it will work, then try something new! I'm sure we would love something unusual.
Also, if you need help knowing where your plots exactly are, a good command is /res toggle plotborder
Thank you for using Freyview as a town example !
What normally looks good is a bunch of houses that are connected externally, but internally there are clear boundaries. Squigly roads that follow a generic plot boundary also look pretty good. Try it out :)
Beta- Winterhold is a good example of a town like that
How I avoid griefing is:
A. Make the builds so damn aesthetic that people don't want to grief them.
B. Only invite people to my town that I trust.
It's really that simple.
