Airzos' Helper Application.

Position Change: Citizen to Helper.

Introduction: Hello! I'm Airzos as lots of people probably know, and i'd like to move positions to Helper, as i'm getting a bit bored of sitting around doing nothing on the server and feel moving up and being preoccupied with Mod Requests would give me something to do at the same time as helping the community. I am currently an Elite and planning on upgrading to Supreme in the next couple of days, hopefully before January 4th so i can get in on that sale that i suggested . At this present time i don't plan on moving past helper as i don't want to be one of the big guns, but just to help others in the community.

Why you should be Helper/Mod/Supermod: I believe i would make a good addition to the MeepCraft staff, because as i stated before, I plan on spending allot of time on Mod Requests, Hopefully 35 - 50% of my time on the server. I also think it would be a good idea because as far as i know there are not many staff members in similar timezones to me apart from Adtheren and Nasapc123, which makes me a viable asset to the team.

Weaknesses: I am very paranoid, for example when the server has gone down you have probably seen a few threads that i have made freaking out about whats happening and when it will be back up and if it will be etc. Also if i get in an argument the only way its going to end is if you back out, I cant stop arguing with someone once i start and i admit i need to work on that. I also am not all that active on the Teamspeak as i only downloaded it recently and find that people don't really pay attention to me on there, but i can also work on this as it is easily fixable. I also need to work on how often i am on, as i can spend 23 hours straight on sometimes and other days i don't come on at all as i'm busy with CG tournaments and other things.

Conclusion: In conclusion i believe i would make a good staff member and benefit the server greatly, and hope you take all that i have written into account. Thanks For Reading!

The app:
The app was under par to me, there were a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes made throughout the whole thing. Before submitting an app, it is always a good idea to run it through spell check before that way it comes across more professional. Aside from the spelling and grammar, what you wrote in your app wasn't to great either. It was very short, I kinda wish you had expanded on the consents you spoke about, such as your time zone, you briefly started to go into it but then just stopped. You also mentioned that you will spend 35-50% of your time doing modreq's, honestly that won't cut it. If doing a lot of modreq's I some of your reasons as to why you should be a helper, then it's going to take more then just 35-50% of your time.

Teamspeak:
You also briefly went into this, which is why I wish that your app was longer. On teamspeak, you have to make yourself heard. I know that it's not always easy to do, but you just gotta put yourself out there.

In game:
I do see a lot of you in game which is a great thing! As you put is as well, there are days where I'll see you online the whole day, and not at all the next day. I am glad that you are quite active in game though.

Application: The application was very weak. The why section was too small to really be considered a "why". The "why" part is supposed to be where you explain every part of why you want to be staff. The introduction was also longer than the why. I'd suggest looking at some apps that were accepted and review them for your next app.

InGame activity: Personally, I don't ever see you unless you are trying to sell something. When people ask questions, get in there and get involved. Try to help ingame as much as you can and be more actvie if you aren't already.

TeamSpeak: I don't believe I have ever seen you on TeamSpeak, but if you do go there, then I haven't heard much from you. When there is silence, break it and get involved. It'll help a lot, trust me

Forum activity: With this, it was a hard one to choose. You are on forums, but you're never really on it helping or getting involved with the community. Rather just going to marketplace with sales of some sort. That is why it isn't horrible, but it isn't good enough to +1 it. But try getting involved with the community a bit more and same for the helping

That is why it stands as a -/+0 for that category.

As it stands, I am a -1. I just don't think you are ready yet. But in due time, you will.

The reason being for All of these reasons apart from forum activity and the application, is that you are American and i am Australian so i wouldn't expect you to see me helping out or on teamspeak. But i get what you mean, thanks for the feedback.

I don't think you're mature enough, or know about the commands within the server enough. Also, you're applying for staff just because you're "bored" of Meep? Just because you don't hold a staff position mean that you cannot help. Mod requests are not the only way of helping.

I get what you mean about the bored part, But i have talked to you once or twice? So please dont make accusations about someone being "Immature" when you have little contact with them and do not really know them... (Don't take this as me being rude.)

 

I have talked to you a few times, and am basing this off my personal experiences with you, taking in what you say in shout, and to me, when I dealt with you during some mod requests. This is just my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you cannot handle constructive criticism, you won't be able to handle being staff. As a staff member, you will be disliked. You will receive hate. You'll receive constructive criticism, to make yourself a better staff member. If you don't handle this in a positive way, you won't be able to handle staff, as I've said before.

 

-1 for me at this time, i don't really feel that you are mature enough to become a staff member, also i never see you in-game maybe timezones and lastly your TS activity is below par.
