Introduction: Hey guys I am Bob and I would like to apply for staff. Meepcraft is my life and without it I would die. Ever since August 2013 I have gone on Meepcraft every single day of my life. It is one of the best things that could have ever happen to me and I would be so glad if I was accepted for staff. I started thinking about this a couple of days ago and I was going to do it during the Summer because my mom puts school work first which I do. But then I thought, why not apply now? So I talked to a couple of my friends about it, and they said it would be awesome so here I go.

Why I should become staff: It has been my dream to become staff. I go on Meepcraft everyday of my life and it is my main server. I only go on other servers if I am lagging or it's rebooting or something like that. But besides that, Meepcraft is on top of the list. I got a couple of friends to play of Meepcraft, but they are not nearly as interested as I am. But I did get one of my friends to buy premium so now I am elite and she is premium.

I donate my time and effort to Meepcraft. I think if I became a helper I would be very efficient and attend to my responsibilities. I may act silly and stuff when I am playing, but if I became staff I would be very mature. That is one thing I can be if I choose to be it. Without Meepcraft my life would be nothing and I would loose so many friends so I am willing to do whatever it takes to become a helper. Also, I have been more active and shout and in the forums lately just how some of my friends recommended. So I think I am a very good choice for the job.

Weaknesses: I have two that I can think of right here right now. One is that my mom only let's me on a half an hour a weekday (besides Friday). But I have downloaded and app where I can't play but I can see chat so if I need to kick or temp-ban someone for anything (besides town thief/grief) I will be able to do it. Second, I am not very familiar with Skype or TeamSpeak taking that I have never used them but I am going to make my accounts today. That is about it for this part. My forum and shout activity have become stronger since I first thought about becoming a part of staff so I think I am way more qualified now than a was probably a week ago. Even though I have that half an hour rule, I will still try to get on Meepcraft whenever I can as long as possible.

Conclusion: I think I would make a great addition to staff. I would fulfill my job to the fullest. I am willing to do many things to become staff other than my academics. To all the people who respond, thank you for taking the time to read this application. If I became staff I would be the happiest guy in the world. If I am accepted I promise I will do the fullest you ask me to do whether it's get on Skype or do this modreq, anything. Staff is amazing on the server so I would be honored to become a member of Meepcraft staff. Once again, thank you to all who have read this.

Hi bob, we have met a bit and you seem nice, but...
1. Forum activity needs to improve.
2. The new skype isn't really an issue, but ts needs to have active players who have been there for awhile.

Your TeamSpeak activity is low and so is your forum activity. However, you are active ingame but don't help to much in shout. I am not going to give you a rating because it will be biased as you are my town assistant.

•Not very helpful, I would work on helping a little more in-game, even if you don't answer first, answer. Sometimes one way not be clear of someone's instructions and yours can help.
•Fourm activity, you are a new member. You should try responding in Q&A and be a little more active. Start posting on threads and create them yourself

•Skype and TeamSpeak are needed so make sure you get it, don't forget!

Sorry, but my main issue is probably the fact that you decided to try before getting Skype and TeamSpeak, because TeamSpeak activity is required before you apply, not after, and it's a huge pet peeve of mine when people do this. You also need to work on, and I'll start with in game, then forums, and then your application.
In Game
- You need to be more active in game. Yes, I understand that your mom has a rule, but you also have to start making the most of the time you have before you apply, not after.
- I don't really see you help out; although I have seen you in Shout, shout activity is far less important than actually being a friendly and helpful person in shout.
Forums
- You only recently started on the forums. Yes, you do have some quality in your posts, but I don't like that you are still a New Member. It makes you seem like you did this on a whim.
- You may think you are being positive, but arguing does not help.
Application

Already, I have an issue. Like I mentioned above, those two things are needed before you apply, not after.

I feel like most of this paragraph is you trying to guilt us into it. I really dislike when people mention things like that, and I cannot stress enough that it doesn't help your case in the slightest. You are being overmelodramatic and completely missed the point of an introduction, which is for you to introduce yourself and put anything you think is important enough to be in your application, but not good for the Why.

Donating doesn't help you get staff, although we do appreciate it, and we like that you got your friends here because you like it so much, but this should not be in your staff application, let alone as a large portion of your Why, the most important part of your application.

Again with trying to guilt us. You also should improve before, not after, as it shows your dedication to becoming a Helper.

These are small weaknesses, if weaknesses at all. MCChat is a very bad tool for staff, as a fair amount of modreqs cause you to have to move around, and you can't do that on MCChat. Obviously you aren't very comfortable with Skype or TeamSpeak because you ignored the requirements of them and decided to just apply for the sake of applying. We are looking more for things like impatience, short temper, or immaturity.

We don't need you to lavish praise on us in your application, nor do we need you to try to guilt us again.

Sorry, but I think you are far from staff at the moment. You need to understand that staff requires a lot of dedication and you can't just decide to do it, because how do we know you won't decide to quit on a whim? I don't mean to offend either, these are just the impressions I got.

• yesterday you asked in shout if anyone needed help and i said yes and you came and helped me set up my new factory and helped with the prices
• you are a nice person, you wouldn't rage at someone if they asked you something you didn't know
• you aren't that immature, sometimes the immature ones are the creative ones that give innovative ideas.

although:

• I know everyone has said it already, but you should get skype and TS at least 3 days before posting this in order to get to know the usual members and become more active.

you are genuine, you arent acting like something you arent and just being yourself. because most people suck it up and pretend to be what they are told to be. and that, i think is key to being a leader / overseer.

Well, your nice and mature most of the times, but there are many things that you need to work on. For example, look at your forum activity. You are only a new member on forums, it is fun to go on forums. Also, I see you online, but your helpfulness needs improvement. Be more active on TS (i'm a hypocrite). Your app was written pretty well, but still needs improvement. Look at the tips and tricks thread a bit more, and improve your app if this gets denied. Your "Why" section should definitely not include something like "I donated a lot", as donations do not matter in this type of position. As chaos has said, your Weaknesses are not entirely weaknesses. So all in all, I am giving a -.1 Your activeness is good though, and many things too.
