Towny Bug

Help please I have been kicked from my own town and apparently this is a bug so I am reporting it and the Owner ship of the town has been given to a resident and i'm worried he is going to ruin my town. My town name is CookieClan

 

If you don't get a response to this soon, try going ingame and requesting staff help for your problem with /modreq. Hopefully they will be able to get this sorted out (I'm assuming that you mean you were mayor of this town).

I notice that your town seems to be safe and sound but I don't understand why you would be getting this error. Recently, my best friend (who isn't an avid player mind you) was kicked from my town because she couldn't pay taxes. She should have been exempt from taxes as she was set as a VIP. I believe something similar is happening to you, you may be paying taxes on your 11 plots, hence your getting kicked from the town and what not. I'm going to notify staff as this seems to be a very big issue. I am so sorry this is happening to you and hopefully we can help you and other players experiencing this problem very quickly! In the meantime, I implore you to set all your taxes at 0 and fund your town through your own money until this problem is resolved. Please keep us updated if you have a persisting problem like this and/or other town residents do.

 

The same thing happened to someone in my town. I forgot to report it because he didn't care.

 

^ This is a current error where town staff are being kicked (including mayors) because of taxes being taken from them. The admins are aware and avidly working on fixing this issue; in the meantime, like Abby said, either set your taxes to 0 or ensure you always have money in your own bank.
