Vkl, I have seen so much change in you the last few months since you were unbanned, That is great to see that you have learned from the bans and taking a step towards being staff, But are you really ready for the role?

I want to ask you a few questions of this:

• Are you ready to drop everything you are doing in game to do staff work?

• Can you handle players who try to get under your skin? (Like handle you rage?)

• The staff are the face of the server, would you be able to make sure players are treated fair with no bias?

• Why say if you get staff you will start acting mature? Why not start now and show us?

My Vote will be in the Next post after you answer my questions.

I've never heard an apology from what you did to me in a skype chat. You took pictures from my personal facebook and used them as your profile picture even after they were continually taken down. You and your friends have stalked me, made me so utterly uncomfortable when I'm in game and on teamspeak that its hard for me to be online with you. If it wasn't for the vulgarity of the skype conversation we had, I'd paste it all here. You do not need to be helping people.

 

I'm gonna try hard to be a butt, but this was literally months ago, while I was banned. I apologized to you, I'm not even allowed to talk to you in-game.. and from what you're saying is, I shouldn't be helping people at all

 

Sorry to be a downer, but if people see that you applied and think it is a troll app, that's a bad sign.

Yeah, so... if this isn't a troll app (and even if it is), I'm going to have to -1.

NOT because of your colorful history (most of which I wasn't around for anyway) but because I still see some actions and attitudes from you that I don't think are good for staff. You have improved your behavior, and I DO think you have the potential to be a good staff member! (Whether you'd ever be accepted is another story...) But I have the same thoughts as Fangdragon1998:

If you know you can do this, then why not do it now? Plus, the reason you want to be staff is basically "cause YOLO," which doesn't count.

This is true. But this is what people will do if he's staff, too. If someone makes a crack about VKL's mom and he's a Helper, it will reflect poorly on the server if he rages against them so easily, however understandable his rage may be. And he's done this on multiple occasions recently.

This disappointed me, VKL. I know you said you have apologized to her, but abby doesn't seem to think so, and your response in this thread doesn't say "I'm sorry" as much as it does "get over it." If you saw my posts in rorihouston's thread, you should know how I feel about this kind of behavior. I certainly hope you wouldn't do it again.

I did get a kick out of everyone pointing out how familiar you are with the rules and the kick/ban system. But as a Helper one of your main tasks would be doing modreqs and helping people, and that requires a certain degree of patience and kindness that I just haven't seen from you... yet.

From what I have heard about you, it seems like you are becoming a much more mature member of the community. I personally think you would make a great staff member, but my one fear would be that someone would try to get you to rage, and you would do so.
