Introduction:
Well, hi. It’s me, Qwikin, also known by my birth name Cory and my alias, Marcello Antwon. I’ve been playing Meep for about 1.25 years now, starting in March 2013. I’ve never been the largest towny player (although I am familiar with all the commands that go into it), but I have been a very avid member of the community, interacting on a daily basis through not only the forums but the in-game shout as well. I’m fairly intelligent (at least I like to think so) making good grades in school, on tests, and other things of the sort. I got most of my ranks through the generosity of friends although I have donated myself, albeit a very small amount in comparison to my rank (10$). My hobbies mostly include gaming, reading, and basically just trying to have a good time with friends, and that’s what I’m striving for: to make Meep a great time for all players, new and old. I have been helper previously, twice, and have resigned for my various reasons which make me hesitant to post this application, because I would guarantee that you’re wondering how you can trust me not to leave again.

Why you should be Helper/Mod ?
Past Experience: As I said before, I have been staff on two other occasions, throughout those I have familiarized myself with the varying commands of Hawkeye and general Minecraft commands (chat moderation commands). I know a good bit about how the server works and the general order of not only staff and community alike. Although, you are probably curious how you can trust me not to just resign again. Well, simply and brutally honest, there is no way I can prove to you I won’t. The only thing that I can offer is my word on the subject and an explanation of my previous reasons for resigning. I was, to an extent, bored, but not with being staff. I was bored, rather, of the game itself, as I had very little to my name and was not motivated to actually play the game, which has changed.

Community Standing: I am an incredibly active member of the community both in game and on the forums (although my teamspeak activity could be better than it currently is, which I will explain later). Not only does this activity create good relationships with the playerbase, but I also have a great deal of friendships with staff. These current (and hopefully future) friendships with staff members make myself easier to work with and easier to get along with in general. After all, it is a staff team.

Freedom: I do have my restrictions, such as the small jobs I do to make money and various extra-curricular activities during the school year, but for the most part I have a very flexible schedule for playing the game. This provides me with an abundance of time to meet not only my duties as a staff member but also as a respected community member by being able to keep a high, constant activity level.


Weaknesses:
Teamspeak activity: Although I have a lot of activity and a high standing among the community, this does not change the fact that I am a very shy and quiet person. This may not be reflected by my activity in shout but I find it a lot easier to communicate behind a keyboard rather than with voice interaction. I do have times where I will go on teamspeak and strike up a conversation, but they are fewer than they should be.

Rather low sense of myself: It’s a pretty rough thing that I have to admit, but it is my biggest weakness: I don’t see myself as other people see me. What I mean by that, is I have a fairly low level of self-confidence (if you’d like to know more in-depth about what I mean, see this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inferiority_complex).

Argumentative nature: It’s not difficult to get along with me: respect me and my friends, and chances are I’ll respect you. I open with that because whenever I get into arguments, very rarely are they meant to offend anyone, rather it’s more of a discussion of opinion between two mature people.

Conclusion:
I was hesitant at making this application, being that I’ve already been staff twice and resigned both times, but I found it in myself to, and I hope that you guys will trust me again to not do the same things that I did in the past. Please don’t look on this application with bias, but rather look at it from a completely blank perspective. I do not want staff because I’m well known, I want staff because the current staff team and community think I deserve it. Um dang I don't know, I think your awesome Q but I'm not sure if you have what it takes to be a helper again, I really don't know, your freindly and kind and thoughtful but I've seen some signs that maybe you shouldn't be a helper again. You had a pretty decent app and I think you could be good helper but I'm not sure. You were a pretty good helper but I see inconsistency and maybe not as much commitment as may be required to take the post again. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and give you a +0.8 but I'm just not sure.

Well its good your open and not defensive, and that you want to improve, that's good, personaly I've seen you make a few comments that would be unbecoming of a helper but nothing to bad, I think the fact you've resigned two times makes me edgy but I think ill do as you mentioned and look at it from a clean perspective, you are very active and I think the fact your willing to take criticism head on and then improve is worth a lot, I supose you can have the rest of my +1, gl

We have discussed this many times! I enjoyed the time when you were on staff before and I believe it would be good again! You are bright, communicable, friendly, and have more than the appropriate knowledge. I was sad when you quit, but I understood. How could I ever be anything less than a +1?

You asked me to look at it with a blank slate, so I will try. Here it goes.

I was so excited to hear the news that you were going to re-apply for staff. I loved being on staff with you before even though I barely got to know you. I think it would be really good if you did come back to the staff team. I know you've been on it before several times, but with different people now, it's a little bit different. I was very distraught when you resigned in February. I wrote that long thing with quotes, yeah. Anyways, I think you are more than suitable to come back to a staff position.

When you resigned, you had not felt you were not doing enough and didn't have enough time to stay active with it. While talking to you, I seem to notice that you have turned that attitude around and your activity has increased quite a bit.

Of course this was mentioned in your weaknesses section, but the only think I think you need to work on is coming on TS a little bit more and coming out of your shell just a little bit more.

The only concern I have is in game activity because when I was on ( like a month ago ) you been on to talk to your friends then leave ( it was like 10mins) Of course, this was a month ago so I'm sure you changed that
