Introduction to my application:

Hello my name is Perryjay (I would rather not state real name) I am 13 years old and I am applying for the helper rank!

I believe it is time for me to once again improve my role within the Meepcraft community to ensure it can be the best possible. I have been helper before but unfortunately I had to step down from my position due to personal safety issues. I was only helper for about 2 or so weeks and do not feel as though I had enough time to really settle into the positon, so I have decided to re-apply for the helper position.

Why I should be Helper/Mod ?

I believe I deserve to be a helper/mod because I have had past experience as a staff member on Meepcraft. Although my time was short, I had time to learn about a lot of the commands involved within the helper rank and how this position helps the server and it’s community.

I do also have a good relationship with some of the staff members and members of Meepcaft which I think is a real plus point as it helps bring our amazing community together.

As a member of staff mentioned to me earlier today, Meepcraft is low on staff that are in, or close to, the timezone in which I am. As I am quite active I believe that I can help out in times where there aren’t many staff on or there are lots of modreq’s to be filed and anything else I am required to do. This could potentially be a real bonus for our server to help it in times of need.

Back when I was a staff member I filed and completed many modreq’s in a short period of time. I’m not saying that modreq’s are a big part of the staff role because they aren’t, but I believe it is very useful for other members of staff to be able to rely on someone to do the modreq’s when they are busy doing other things such as helping players or doing modreq’s themselves.

I have also got experience in helping people in real life as I am a school councillor/Class representative in my school. Doing this at school means I am really good with working with other people, or in groups and I am used to finding ways to improve or help other people or things. This corresponds to our server because it means I can work well with the staff team, help out players when in need and give advice or suggestions on how to improve different aspects of the server.

Another plus point about my past experience as staff is that I have had a large break of time between then and now. This benefits me because I have had time to improve on the criticisms I got. Although still having a few down sides, I believe I have improved massively from me when I was staff and now.

My summer holidays will start next year meaning that I will have a good, strong period of time to settle into the staff role and really get myself into it before I get back into school again for the next year.

I have had experience working with fuzzlr (helping him with the finalization of kitpvp) which i believe proves that i have the ability to work with different members of staff when needed to do the job in which i am asked.

My Weaknesses:

As many people probably expect from a kid of my age, I can be immature at times. I am not extremely immature, in fact people have said I am indeed mature for my age, but it can happen as I am just a kid. My activity on Teamspeak also isn’t the best. I have been trying hard to get my activity up but it takes me a lot of courage to talk to people I don’t know and haven’t met before. Although once I have gotten into a conversation it does become alright. I am known to sometimes get a bit distracted, so when I am in a task I may get dragged away from it but this is definitely a point that I can work and improve on to make sure I can be as good as I am able.

Conclusion to my application:

I would first off like to say thank you for taking the time to read my helper application. I really believe that this is my time to step up within our Meepcraft community and once again be part of the staff team.

Once again I would like to say thank you for reading my application and I hope that you will consider me yet again becoming a member of our amazing staff team.

For those of you who don't know, i stepped down from staff because me and my mum were uncomfortable having people i did not know on my skype contacts.
Yesterday i asked sjoe if i was able to make a skype account purely just for meepcraft. He said yes, everyone does it. So here i am, i have sorted out the issue i had and am happy to Add anyone on this new skype account.
