Introduction:
Hi everyone, it's Owen here! I am a lover of MeepCraft, 1st server I've ever played, and the only server on my computer. I spend countless hours a day playing MeepCraft and listing to music, enjoying every single one. I first joined Meepcraft on October 14, 2012 (my 12th birthday) on another account, and was on briefly. I took a long break from gaming, and on Febuary 22, 2014, right after I made a new Minecraft account, I rejoined Meep. I was very happy to be back, and new Meep pleasantly surprised me! After then, I played fairly often, spending most of my time in towns, residing in towns such as Butterland, Celestia (rip), Everest, and gained lots of Meep knowledge. After fuzzlr surprised us all with towns beta, I became even more active in Meep. I lived in Horneburg briefly, and built The yellow stained clay skyscraper you see. And then, on May 15, 2014, after buying 1,000,000 meebles, I started the beautiful town of Vosktia! Owning a town taught me lots of responsibility, such as keeping residents happy, keeping the town up, and enforcing rules. Since then, Voskita has been a successful town, with some of Meep's tallest skyscrapers (I <3 skyscrapers). Now, I want to be an even bigger part of the community by being staff. Helping people, and growing myself along the way!

Why I should be Staff:
I believe I should be staff, first and foremost, of my passion for Meep. I always keep a positive attidude about Meep and all my criticism is constructive I follow all the rules (never been kicked or banned), whether I like them or not. As a staff member, I know I would be fair and just, kicking when someone needs it, banning when someone needs it, and always helping someone when needed, from a new citizen who's never played Minecraft before, to Hornemans.

My work ethic would be very strong as staff. If I see something that needs to be done, I will stay up all night to do it if I have too. I know that because in my town, I've had to stay up very late to get some things done. Meep. I have an eye for spotting out improvement, and also posses a different viewpoint than most of the community, but still will compromise when it's the best solution. Multiple viewpoints and mutual compromise are how some of the most successful businesses, servers, and other organizations have got so far.

I am also getting more involved with Meep, my forum activity is going up, I'm using /g more, and I'm just playing for longer. And that's a trend I don't see ending anytime soon. I'm planning on donating often, and keeping Meep up and running for!

Helpfulness is a quality I possess. As I mentioned earlier, I will help everyone, no matter if a well seasoned player, or a new noob, no matter if you're my brother, or someone who I don't see eye- to- eye with. I just sent in an application to volunteer with cats at my local Petco and some skills I pick up there I will use as staff and vice- versa.

My weaknesses:

Like anyone, I also have some weaknesses. Sometimes, I will be careless and make a stupid decision, such as banning someone when not needed, or saying something I didn't mean. That can be damaging in a staff member. Also, I can be immature sometimes, and post stupid threads, or think mean thoughts about a certain player. And, also I've never used TeamSpeak because I get frustrated whenever I try. (Some help with it would be great!) But, I'm also trying to work on these weaknesses and I believe I will eventually overcome them!

Conclusion:

From personal experience, this guy's nice, helpful, and mature. He's got an attitude that'll let him answer a call for help at any time. However, I wish you'd be more active on forums and on ts, or even ./shout. I'll give you a +.5, good luck.

Back when I made that thread I wasn't really thinking, and now I'm fine with the no cursing rule. Also, the I will stuff is me saying I will do that as staff, I still help people now, but I didn't make that clear, so I understand you not liking that.

I've been hearing a lot of people saying I'm not on TeamSpeak enough. It's because mine's not working. Whenever I type in ts.meepcraft.com, it says "Safari can't reach this server", can you help?

 

Do you have Teamspeak downloaded?

This should fix your teamspeak problem, but you will have to download Teamspeak here (click the mac version)
