Hello, once again I am back with another helper application. Now, let me get stuck right in, my last application was denied after interview for being quite negative, I feel I have worked on that sticking to the right attitude most of the time. Yes, I do have my moments where I am in the mood for a good old rant, but the bad stuff has stopped, which is good. I can easily calm myself in the worst of situations. So, it isn't too bad now. Now to make a full start, I have never actually really spoken about myself in real life. So yeah, I go to secondary school in the UK, on weekends I play football for a club and I also manage a young team. I am generally good within school completing GCSE work at school unlike my peers. Now, it's not a lot but, all that can benefit me and the server.

Let me break it down:

I play for a football team: In a football (Soccer) team, you can really pick up skills from it, it is a fun sport however, you pick up traits within it, as captain, I am always encouraging people to do their best, trying to help out the team as much as possible. I am always determined to win, although most people say "It's not about winning, it's about taking part" I do not honestly agree with this within football. However, it's my determination which gets me through a lot of things. Maybe even the determination to finish off some modreqs, complete a griefing report fully even if I am rushed.

I manage a young team: Yes, I also manage a team as well as play for one, I teach them all my knowledge of the game and will also explain do's and don'ts. Within managing, you have to have multiple things like leadership, patience and determination. The third I have talked about. Patience is always needed in or out of the server, I have a lot of patience for people, even if I give them a hint or two. Moving back to determination, I am working on a FA coaching course to take more responsibility.

My intelligence (Not intending to be too cocky, sorry if this appears to be): I always pride myself in being a high achiever, I work well in most things I do, I always think about what I do to ensure I finish things in the best way possible.

Now into skills in the server:

I always give 100% effort, no matter what I do. I will do it, I stay determined and stick to what I am doing, I don't stop, I don't give up, I just keep going. Everything needs effort, everything.

Honesty. I am honest, I haven't always been, as you know, on previous application I have put I was 15, which I did say sorry to everyone who invested their trust in me at that moment in time, expecting a lot of hate for it, I never actually got any. That was one of the reasons I originally resigned, I hated the feeling of guilt, my time as staff was built on a stupid lie. Now, I do not lie, I know it's just wrong and I see the consequences.

Knowledge of the Server:
I have been here since April 2012, I know the ins and outs of the server. I put this into use in game when helping people via shout or /msg. It is always going to be a huge plus having great knowledge of the server as a staff member, being extremely active and loyal to the server is always what hinders it forward.

Knowledge of commands:
I know all the staff commands, this includes all hawkeye commands, for example, instead of trying to explain everything to a staff member, I make it 10x easier and give a brief description of what happened and then tell them the exact command (Not trying to be rude to them by doing that; please, don't think I am). If we were to change back to logblock (Very Unlikely), I also know that thoroughly. I need no help here.

Previous Experiences as Staff:
This keeps getting longer so let me make you a timeline:
1. I started out on a friends server and was given the Admin rank, it was a small server however, I really enjoyed time on there. But, in comparison to MeepCraft, this was nothing. I did pick up some skills there, but not many. Just the basics.
2. I then joined another server which I suppose was quite fun. We got 10-20 people on at one given time which wasn't all that bad. I worked my way up very fast and within a month, I was Head-Admin. As I put in every app, the server was destroyed by the crazy tech.
3. Back to Meep, I came back to MeepNetworks and found myself getting my application accepted. I was put through an interview and became a helper. I didn't do too bad, however, now, it feels like I could have done so much more at the time. I was demoted then for telling people of my friend being banned (Good excuse, I know).
4. At the end of MN I applied for this MeepCraft, I was accepted which got me quite hyped up about it. With guidance from colleagues within the staff team, I was always doing well, on task and trying my best. I then applied for Mod. My application was accepted whilst I was on holiday in Spain so, that couldn't have been better. I continued well and helped teaching new helpers new skills etc. I resigned due to a lot of things which I have already disclosed.

Before I go on, I can assure you, I do not intend on resigning for a good long time if I were to become staff, I have things to look forward to as staff.

Forums: Forums! Simply my most favoured part of the server, I love seeing what people post and what is going on outside the in game server, I love them! I am currently a popular member on forums as shown. As popular member is the highest rank for a citizen, it does show my forums experience. I worked on forums a lot as mod sorting ban appeals, ban reports etc.

Skype: I am on Skype more than anything, I love it! If you ever need me I'l be on phone, PC or iPad. If you ever need me I'l be on there.

TS: TS is a weakness, I'l get on there a few times a week and am familiar with the people however, as you've seen, I prefer Skype, I find it more easy to use than TS for some reason.

Helping out as non-staff: I always help out when I get the chance to, I have also been known to help out staff members with issues. For a few examples, a not so close friend was banned, he made an extremely wrong choice, although he does not play anymore, I mentored him for a while watching over him, giving him advice, it really helped him out. Another example is having a close connection with players, someone was banned and was using alts to spam, I stopped them calmly. It's little things which help.

Weaknesses:

1. I have to admit, I am quite an argumentative type, however, I try to use that to my advantage to benefit others. It also works when getting a point through. But, I look at it as having a louder voice, being able to confidently give my opinion on things, Sjoe will back be up here when I say that. So, I suppose as well as a weakness, I can use it as a strength.

2. The Entire Resignation Problem. This can give people little trust within me making it harder to trust me as a staff member. I am trying to earn back their trust and hopefully I can like this.

3. I was negative, very although I did not see it until someone brought it up, I thought it was honesty, however, it was not.

In time: I want to help everyone, I want to raise new staff members, show them new things which they may not know, use my experience and skills to the best of my ability to help others do the same.

You have your own definition for applying so much.

I don't really know because i haven't been active, but hopefully it turns out in your favor (you apply too damn much if I didn't say it already).

I'm at a +.5. You have great knowledge of the server, and you know what you are doing. Anytime I ever had a modreq with you, you did a great job. As long as you can be LOYAL to the position, I'd like to see you as helper.

I may not be active in game, but, I have seen you resign and reapply SO. MANY. TIMES. It just is ridiculous. And blackmailing and insulting someone because they a "buildoff" like you do is incredibly ridiculous.

 

Guys, who cares if he resigns? Why do you care? Does it honestly matter?

As for your weaknesses, Antiacus (if he sees this) would agree with me that arguing is not a weakness, rather a strength so long as it doesn't get out of hand. Or at least, it was. Arguing is apparently not tolerated as much but that's neither here nor there. Point being, if you have an idea or an opinion, it's not a weakness that you speak out about it so long as it's respectful.

The resignation thing, yeah, that's a weakness. It shows that you get bored with staff, and maybe you're only into it for the glory of the tag until the glory of the tag wears off.

I'm negative too, so I can probably overlook this one, but you can't be sunshine and rainbows the entire time.

I'll sit at a +0 because I don't have an opinion on whether you should become staff. You're mature enough, but do you have the perseverance and ability to stick with it? Just take what I've said as constructive criticism either for your next app or for your work as staff

Not going to lie, however, I can assure you I will not resign.

I don't know why the resignation was brought back up, it was sorted after my last app was denied, everyone accepted that I should have my last chance, however, you are entitled to your opinion.

 

+1, I dont know why you guys are using how many times he's reapplied as an excuse. This has nothing to do with his performance. He is very reliable and is on a lot, good app and has been a very good helper/mod before.

The physical act of him resigning doesn't reflect on his performance. However, on BOTH resignation threads, he resigned for the main reason that he wanted to quote "have fun with Zach" (aka you). So you get bored with the position and quit? What happens next time he just wants a break? The position is a position of dedication and hard work. As some wise person who's name I don't remember said, "You apply to help when you can, not when you want". It's not just a pickmeup position you can apply for whenever you want.

The only thing anyone has to go off of is that he's been staff before, but with the amount of times that's happened, it shows he's not extremely dedicated to the position as it stands right now. It could be fixed, but again, what happens when he gets a new game? What happens when he feels like he's neglecting you?

It might work this time, it might not. There's going to be a point where the staff catch on and become done with it
