Introduction:
My real name is Seth, I am 15 years old and I enjoy graphic design and playing Meepcraft. I am a sophmore in high school and I plan to go into a business career, I also plan to join FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) next year. My family and I have driven down Broadway in NYC which was crazy and we have been to just about every national park that exists. My favorite food is probably pizza, I am a big fan of Crush organge soda and chocolate. I like to read books and I hate literacy, I am good at Algebra II and accounting. I am classified as a "nerd" at school and have lots of good friends. My favorite sport that I would play would be soccer, I also play disc golf when i can. I am owner of the Beta town LightWater with 35+ Residents, I am also owner of my Hermit town SMS_Inc.

Why I should be helper:
Experience: I have never been any type of admin or staff on any minecraft servers, but I have been owner of several towns and assistant in many others. I am a very fast learner and could learn commands easily. I know all the towny commands that i could help other people with.
Work Ethic: I am a very hard worker. You can ask just ask anyone who knows me In-game. I usually stay on task until that job is completed. When I do a job I do it right the first time unless directed otherwise. I like for people to think highly of me so i try my best in everything i do.
Dedication: I am very dedicated to the Meepcraft server. I am Supreme rank and am trying to get Ult but its not my top priority. I am on for 1-8 hours a day and I have played Meep for over a year. I browse the forums pretty and try to get on Teamspeak when i can but I'm not always able.
Involvement: I am very involved in Meep. I help people who ask questions in /shout. Like i said ealier I am on Teamspeak when I can. I like to listen to the people and the community. I am also pretty active on the forums, where I learn most of the new attractions Meepcraft acquires.
Performance: I am a mature person. As helper I would complete modreqs and help new members understand and have fun on the server. I am able to set aside my personal time to help new members of Meep, and to keep the server welcome and enjoyable for all players.

Weakness:
Emotions: Sometimes people can get me down but I am always trying to be positive and not show it.
Over Thinking: Sometimes I can over think things that are extremely simple. I've started to think situations through before i make a decision.

Conclusion:
These are the reasons i feel that would make me a good staff member. Meepcraft is a great server and it teaches people how to work together and how to manage and use money. I hope you like and if I do not make staff I will take the new information to try and improve.

Okay. So far so good, nothing here super interesting. Your times seem good, and we have lots of people online on those hours in CST. I would assume most 15-year-olds are plenty mature for this position, although we have yet to find out in this specific case.

Okay, this introduction looks good. You describe yourself, mention that you are more of a nerd than a jock (it's a three dimensional spectrum, don't feel bad) and that you and your family love traveling. While that all seems good, does the potential for you to not be active exist while you are on your vacations?
You also mention that you are owners of towns in both Alpha and Beta, which is good, because I like to think that being smart enough to run your own town bodes well for your chances of getting staff.

Okay, your experience is not great, but as I understand it you are clever enough to work your way up to supreme only with meebles. Correct me if I am wrong. While you haven't been staff on a server before, there's a first time for everything, right?

I can personally vouch for your good work ethic. Not much else to say here.

Okay, you are involved, but I've never seen you on teamspeak, and I rarely see you on forums. I do see you ingame, though.
Work on activity in teamspeak (although, look who's talking, I'm the king of not being on teamspeak), and forums. I can judge here, though, as I am extremely active on forums.

Okay. Not much to say here except that you might want to work on /shout activity. Most people know each other across /shout first, then start /msging. You don't always need to answer questions in /shout, you can also try /msging answers, I find that is much more satisfying as it gives a sense of, "Hey. I see you, so I'm going to answer that question personally, not just yell it out across /shout and hope you see it."
Other than that, you're doing good.

Okay, you seem mature to me, although I've had very limited interactions with you. You seem very eager for the job, and I appreciate that (just look at me).

While I respect immensely that you put down 'emotions' under your weaknesses, as I am working on that very thing, you don't go in depth about it. You sorta skim the surface of your weaknesses, and only include the section because Cooleys' format requires it. If you can point out your weaknesses before staff/the playerbase does, that makes me respect you a lot more and convinces me that you are mature enough to be on the staff team.
Work on this, please.

Okay, this is a decent conclusion, I can never think of what to put here. You mentioned that Meep can be a learning experience, a statement that I agree with because Meep has personally taught me a lot. I think you'd be a very good staff member, although I hope that you don't go overboard like I did.

Overall, I'd have to give you a +1.

 

-1 whether you intended it or not, by saying your going from Supreme to Helper is you using your rank to gain a better vote. I, personally, always leave out my rank during applications because I feel like putting a rank can easily sway an opinion. Good luck.

The application was a bit short, but it still gets the point across. You are a mature person willing to do the work for helper. You are active and dedicated, but I don't see you talking in global chat that much. Your weaknesses are really short though, so I need you to answer this question.

How to you plan to overcome your weaknesses?

I'm not sure whether he had meant to do that or not. And while it can sway opinions, a lot of people enter it like that, so it's kind of become a standard.

 

-1. First of all I think that you need to make yourself more well known. Now the application. I wasn't enjoyable to read. It was short and you missed some stuff to tell us. Also I never see you help in game. Work on these things and apply in a few months and you would be a good fit.

I know i don't know you and have no experience with you but that's my fault but your app was lacking and was quite short and i don't believe it told us enough also while i have been inactive in game i have been active on teamspeak and i have never seen you on teamspeak but your forum activity is positive!
