First Memories

What was your first memory or earliest memories on Meep? Post them here!

Mine was getting on the server for the first time and seeing MeGustaYou as a Mod. I spammed her in /msg to tell her that I thought her name was awesome.

 

Hearing Funky talk about it with his friends and mistaking the name for MeatCraft!
He also didn't know that you could do /t spawn so he hid his screen whenever he did /t spawn Pigtown (his town) so I couldn't join it!

 

Finding gold temples in the wild. You know the kind? a temple with 4 pillars with gold blocks underneath each of them... those were the days..

 

I remember getting lost in the old spawn, getting my screen spammed with chat, finding out that I had to pay to talk in global, and then quitting the server for about a year, and then coming back in August last year. xD

I remember those! I used to survive off of the money I gained from them. Those were some great days.

Heh, mine was quite amazing.

After going through several Skyblock servers, I decided to stay on Meep, because there was hardly any block lag.
I was minding my own business, expanding the island and such. In half an hour, I had a visit from 2 helpers/mods (not sure about the names, but I think one of them was Superbros? and the other Bob???) that told me if it is possible to disable my proxy. I had no idea what the talk is about, it later turned out I was using such feature in my browser to see content that was not available for my country on an unspecified website.

Guys were pretty cool, enjoyed talking with them.

Also I remember when I got invited in Fairlands by Cyber_Punk_, and I was extremely shy to talk with her.
Oh yeah, my last birthday in Meep, I remember that too. Everyone was having a blast in there…And I had to cut the party to two parts due the fact I had to do stuff irl >:I

My first memory was joining a town with Mrsmegan when she was a no rank. I had no idea what anything was and I thought /sethome claimed my plot because when I did that I could open stuff in the house I claimed(Turns out the owner didnt know what perms were). My stuff always got stolen because I didnt have a plot so I would just give all my random stuff with Megan, we didnt become friends for like another year and a half. Eventually I left that town and joined a town called Tristram. I got a god sword in one of Fuzzlrs drop parties and the owner, Heroic_Jelly stole it from me. I got a mod named smosh to help me and she got him banned, and gave me ownership of the town because I was the last person in it. I worked really hard on it and grew obsssesed with Meepcraft. I bought elite in December 2012 for 68 USD and got a little popular. I remember getting cakes from playing minigames and selling them for 1000 meebles each, and running through the terrarium with no armor to get free diamonds and potions.

 

My first memory is of joining a town called ''Sterling'' that I always thought was named ''Hamlet'', and was super confused when it suddenly turned into a village (or whatever comes next).

 

I joined Meep in late November of 2013, and I immediately joined a brand spankin' new town that, at the point that I joined, consisted of 3 furnaces and some wood planks. I was given assistant after I made my house, and the town grew a lot over the next week. (I forget what it was called). Then I tried PvP and sucked at it, and I was kicked when bluecarneal kicked someone for saying 'a**s' and I asked why, using the same word. I was stupid. Then people in shout were asking blue why I was kicked, and I made some friends like TribeTribe12, marsmalc, Lilstokes, and such over the next few days, and got relatively well-known rather quickly.

 

I remember when I was a drifter in spawn I saw this pig running around and I was like "Omg a pig!" so I chased it and then suddenly they turned into a person. (I didn't know about /dis back then) So I was like "Wow, how'd u do that?" and he was like "/dis" and i didn't know what that meant to I was like "Oh yeah cool". So then he was like "/tpa to me when I tell you to." And I said "Ok". So i did and he /tpad me to his house and he was like "Do you like it, Deer?" And that was the first time someone called me Deer, so I thought that he was saying "Dear" and i was thinking WOah sTRANGER DANGer, so I got off of meep and that was the last time i had ever seen him. It wasn't until later that Deer was an abbreviation for my username DeerlandingXD when I was an Elite.

 

I went in the wild and found where someone died, they had a lot of diamond blocks and emerald blocks. I sold them to Percy1234, and he added me to his town "Arrowsdale" it was the richest town on Meep. From that point until CG came in I was a very rich player. I was even the richest for quite a few months before I became a mod, and after Percy quit.

 

I joined and only played Skyblock. I had a small group of friends in Skyblock that I hanged out with. Since I was gullible I let people on my small island and got griefed often. Eventually one of my friends hear I was griefed and let me join her island. On her and her husbands island I learned the commands like auction and talking in chat. The two people got me addicted to Meepcraft. I eventually donated in Christmas time and got recognition which made me happy.

 

I constantly asked 'when is creative gonna be up?' despite the whole server telling me 'stop asking not any time soon'

 

Getting picked on and ignored

 

The exact same thing happened to me. I must have done a pretty good job, explaining Meep, because two days later, everyone was asking me about "MeatCraft" not MeepCraft

 

Some special memory I had was when Alien_Venom was Admin and I kept mailing and messages him to fix the old HG sign because one ice block was missing and it was bugging me.

 

First memory was probably joining a town (Cant remember the name atm) and tricking the mayor into thinking I was an admin on like 20 servers, and I got assistant like right away.

 

I remember walking in and in my first week becoming assistant of 2legacybball's town. Then I got banned for griefing and stealing when my account was hacked.
