First Memories

I stayed quiet in my town for a while, and when I had the hang of towny I asked the mayor "Is there anything I can do for the town to be an assistant?"
1 minute later, no replies and I am assistant. Don't know how it happened.

 

my earliest memory was the day i first got my account i immediately logged on and got on meepcraft (my brother had been playing on it so i wanted to try it out.) i remember getting lost in the really old spawn and getting my chat spammed. Also i got lost in the ice maze (I'm pretty sure that was it )

 

the ice maze was a fun addition.

 

I remember being spammed and having to google how to turn chat off because I was being ignored in chat
and also getting lost in the spawn multiple times
and building the ugliest house in towny ever

 

I first found Meep when Fuzzlr (or whoever) acquired Mc-Halo. After the ip for Mc-Halo didn't work anymore, I had to use MeepCraft's ip. I went into spawn, and quickly found the halo portal and started playing again like I always did. A few weeks later, I picked up a MeepGuide (back when they were still helpful, you know?) and asked in shout if I could join a town. A guy named Pxscal let me into his town, Interlaken. I remember asking him how towny worked and him giving me a set of iron armor. He also explained where to mine (/warp rp) and how to make money. He was a really nice guy... At this time, I made a living by doing this: /buy 1 stonesword, killing/killstealing people in Centrum (I hate to admit I was a PVP logger) and selling the loot/heads. I stayed there for a few months until I realized that Pxscal had quit, and that I should find a new town. I eventually bought an embassy in Albion, which was owned by Phoenixpuppy at the time. After Phoenixpuppy became inactive, ownership of the town passed to Snorehax, and Interlaken fell. At this time I joined Albion, which Snorehax named Grandis. I turned 10k into 500k by exploiting the Meepshop when it was new (Iron blocks were 200 and iron ingots were 430). After 7ace quit, the town went to 618AWESOME, and after that, I now own it.

 

When I first joined the server I messed around on some minigames, then I decided I wanted to try towns. I went to the towns warp, and accidentally fell in someone's chicken pen. At the time I didn't know that you could teleport using /warp, so I just filed a modreq and waited an hour or so for someone to help me out.

I remember getting banned for spam on my first day.

Mid-October, 2012.

My friend Sarah tells me she found this amazing server that I should go on. We go on together, and I remember reading every sign in the tutorial and acing the test and feeling really proud of myself

We then wandered to towny and went to a town near spawn, then snuck into someone's nether portal. There, we made a house and set homes there. Finally after a day or two of this (I remember thinking that I was griefing someone's house when we dug our little home in the wall of the nether) Sarah decided we should try to join a town.

We wandered around town spawn for awhile talking in local trying to get one, and then saw Orbaz say in shout 'Need a town? Go to /t spawn Piedmont!". We joined, he immediately gave us both a stack of porkchops, and then he brought us to a plot where we built a ridiculously ugly cobblestone house. And I was really proud because I made a shower and a fridge.

All I can say is;

 

I think MrsMegan had just gotten SuperMod when I first joined, because I remember people congratulating her. I also remember someone proposing to her in shout, her not answering him, and then him doing /suicide and declaring that it was Megan's fault. I wish I could remember who it was!

My first actual interaction with someone was probably when mistressmacabre added me to the town that I now own as mayor (Kakariko in Alpha, where she was an assistant at the time). She helped me feel welcome, gave me some basic instructions/advice, and then mostly left me to my own devices for a while - which I was happy about, haha. I also remember going into the Wild and mining for what seemed like forever so I could afford to build my little wood-and-stone house. But that's okay 'cause I like mining!

 

I remember the MrsMegan suicide part!

 

I first joined in old meep when my friend from school showed me and i got bored so i left. then a while later i came back. i was reading shout, wishing i could be famous and then in shout some a message came up:

stevecrazy: Who wants to be my nooby assistant?

i messaged him straight away and he teleported me to HOWZAT. he gave me a little quiz on towns and i soon became the assistant. I didn't answer any of the questions right but you know... sometimes you just get desperate. after that we started talking a lot and we both found out things about eachother and eventually became pretty close internet buddies.

now that steve has left i dont play meep anymore that much. i only go on about once a week for a few minutes. luckily now manutd and zer0 are being awesome. theyre the only reason i play.

 

Planing to grief a town, but never doing it as my friend did it without me (and received a perm)

I joined MeepCraft by searching for servers that needed staff. I joined, forgot about my staff ambitions until a year and a half later, and this is what I did to pass the time:

I loved parkour. City parkour in particular, which took me about two months of glitch exploitation and clever jump timing to master. At one point, parkour was reset and I was super annoyed because my checkpoint was lost. I almost quit Meep altogether then.
However, one thing made me stay: My town. I had joined a town called Ancient, run by @Mysteryperson13 /@mysteryperson and Dapito04, who no longer plays. Dapito became my best friend, I could never really tell if it was a boy or a girl, and s/he was the only reason I played Meep for a good long while.
I learned my ways around using Dapito's help, the MeepGuide, /shout, and on occasion /modreq. I loved it.
Eventually, Ancient was sold and I was forced to relocate. I picked up my belongings, and moved to a medium-sized town named Lakewood. I loved it there. @Deinen0 ran it, assisted by his friend Disordur. I remember I lived next to @reggles44, who was just about the coolest dude ever to me. I loved Meep.
In August/September of 2013, tragedy struck. My laptop, the thing that meant the most in the world to me, (lol I'm weird) broke. The entire hard drive crashed, and I lost everything that was on it, including the memories of MeepCraft I had.
For Christmas of 2013, I got a brand-spanking new laptop, which I still use to this day. As I booted it up for the first time, a lingering memory drifted to the front of my brain. MeatCraft? NeepCraft? MEEPCRAFT! I downloaded Minecraft, joined MeepCraft, created a forums account, and promptly forgot about it.
Fast forward to I don't know, maybe February-March of 2014? I became active again, doing things in the community. I joined a small town called Hoenn, run by some skrub no one knew about named @monkeyhead1999. We were both nubby citizens together, and I eventually gained enough trust from her to become an assistant in the town. However, disaster struck when Monkeyhead1999 decided to sell the town in its entirety to Pyro707, a cool dude in his own right. I was once again forced to move, and once again Lakewood was my safe haven.
I picked up shop, traveled to TownsB for the first time, and chose a plot in Lakewood Beta. I had a good life, and along this time sweet Monkeyhead did the best thing she could have for me, she bought me VIP. I was finally a ranked player. I could use /chest, /tpa, donor spawn, the I Love MeepCraft sign, it was amazing.
In June of this year, I applied for staff. I think you all know the rest.

(Bob4444444 did the most amazing thing and bought me Premium, and my awesome grandparents helped my bypass Exclusive and go straight to Elite.)

My first memory was having no idea how to do anything.
Like, nothing at all. Not even how to talk in shout.
Also, I remember begging fuzzlr to give me money.
He never replied, but i kept going with my efforts, and one day they paid off. I think fuzzlr was sick of me at that point and gave me 100 meebles to keep me quiet. I was so happy I got some money (finally) and kept begging people
I became rich enough to start my own town, and being way sadder than a should have been when it fell, and I didn't know why. (Upkeep I didnt pay)

I remember we met when I had 140k and I was all 'wow I'm rich af I need a god set' so I tried buying diamond boots off you (blast prot and unbreaking) for 4k. You were like 'woah no way not enough 14k' and i wasn't so sure but I got em. Still pretty sure they weren't worth that much. then you kept bugging my to buy your enchanted books so I did eventually. Yeah.

 

Joining a town (I forget what it was called... it was Origin at one point) and ryguybuddy helping me figuring out the complexity of the towns plugin.

 

we were friends then ;'( how things have changed.

 

Mine was logging on and reading the guide and being like "That /buy 1 stone sword 40 doesn't work O-o" and not knowing where nothing was, and just kinda keeping to myself (kinda like now ^-^)
