Introduction:

Hello again Meepcraft. It's me, Dawson. I am a 16 year old kid who plans to major in forensic science. These days though, I attend high school, go to acting classes, have my school play, and play a lot of video games. I have been a part of Meepcraft for around 1 and 1/2 years after a little server (with staff such as DancingCactus, LexKristen, Fluffbear, TacticalTickler, and Pointfit guided me through my first time as staff.) shut down due to new Meep. After going inactive over the summer, I came back and became (well i thought) i popular, helpful community member. I applied for staff in Sept-Oct and then later applied for Mod in Oct. I was staff until the end of October after I was demoted (will touch on that below). Now, I hope to return to the team.


Why you should be Helper/Mod ?


Helpful: Over the time I have played Meepcraft, helping had been something I can't stop doing. I could use the word helpful over and over again here, but I'd prefer to leave it at I love to help.

Energetic: I spring into action when action is called. I give a strong push for anything I do and do it to my fullest extent. I hope to join the staff team and bring this feeling of excitement and energy to all those around me.

Work Ethic: My motto is "A job half done is as good as a job not done", basically saying I give it my all. I carry through in cases I deal with and do them with precision and speed.

Activity: I have came back to the server this month and tried to prove my activity is back. If in the past you used to see me a certain time and now you don't, its probably because I fixed my sleep schedule. When I am active, i participate in shout and help.

Friendly: There's not much to this one. I have worked many small jobs at our library and done shows as Kristoff from Frozen and been nice to any person walking through the doors. I give a smile to anyone.

Fun Loving: Like a lot of other people, I like to have fun. My fun loving attitude helps me get through the modreqs everyday and encourage other staff to do the same.

Creative: A creative mind is very important to me. If the server becomes "lame" and people leave, a creative thought can bring the community together to have fun once again, as it should be.

Experience: I worked with staff for about 3 months. I know what it takes to be a helper and do tedious work and how to do such work. I know that HE is no longer in effect, and as soon as I heard the new system was Prism (i think it is at least) I looked up a ton of youtube videos to get an early start on it.

Cooperation: I work well in groups. I love working with people that will exploit falls of a project and make sure that everything is correct. The more people working on a project, the more bright ideas can come.

Working Solo: I was cyber schooled my entire life up until high school, so I know how to work alone. I can get the job done efficiently however you ask me to work.


Weaknesses:


Anger: I get angry quick sometimes. I don't take my rage out on anything (unless I'm just kidding raging), but I lose focus and find it hard to concentrate while angry.

Loudness: You may be wondering why this is a weakness, well it's because it's serious. I am a very loud outgoing person and sometimes break people eardrums (not really of course) when I' really in depth to a game.

My Demotion: I was demoted for two main reasons. One, I was mean to certain staff members. I spoke to certain staff members that I felt should not have been staff harshly and looked for every flaw in them. Since this, I no longer do this but instead look at the positives of people and know there is a good reason they are staff. Two, my forums conduct. There were a few posts on the forums which I mad joking around comments, but some of these comments were inappropriate. Since then i proofread EVERY SINGLE THING i post and make sure there's no way it'll happen again.

Acting: Right now, I am in my school's musical. In the upcoming March I may not have as much playing time as I do now. I will try to be as active as possible though.

Conclusion: I hope to come back to the staff team once again as a respected community member and all around helpful guy. Thanks for the support and please leave honest replies, I appreciate it. Happy holidays!

I hope you all realize that +0.5 +0.2 +0.3 mean nothing. Staff do not go and say Well he said +1, and he said -1, and this person said + .3 and he said -.2 so overall he's at a +.1 ACCEPTED FOR STAFF.

+'s and -'s really mean nothing, especially when you add decimals.

I think that the application was well thought true and well made. If everything you are saying in your application is correct you seem like a nice and independent person that wouldn't need that much help to get back in to the system. It is also good that you seem like that kind off person that could fit in to the current system very well, and also true that you can help improve the current system. It looks like you have the experience to know how to handle the different situations and also that you know how the system works.

At the other hand, a staffs job is to look at a case in a objective way so feelings doesn't get involved. If feelings ever get involved you take the risk of making a wrong decision, and that can and most likely will make it so that someone gets a wrong punishment according to the rules/situation. Another thing that is really important that you forgot to mention in your app is that after you got demoted you released the anger you had upon the server and its players. Those feelings are something that you have to have resigned from before you can take part of staff. Your current activity is in the medium time range if you were to use all that time on staff work. What is concerning for me is that you are going to have even less time to do staff work later. And that makes it kind off weird that you wouldn't wait until after you were done with your musical.

Out from the info you have given at the current time I would give you a +0.5 if you think you have enough time to do a good and effective job for the server. -1 if you don't have the time.

You have a good staff application, and you seem friendly enough when I encounter you in /g or on TeamSpeak.
I think you could work on your activity; I have only seen you active this past week or so, even though I'm not on 24/7, and we might have different timezones. You've been staff before, so you probably know most of the commands and how to get things done, but every staff member is demoted for a reason, even though you have seemed to work on it.
Overall, I am at a +1.
