Possible Easy Kitpvp Hacker Stopper Idea?

helpers also dont come all that often, a bot can be there 24/7. Your idea and this bot idea can both be implemented if anything

I have not noticed much lag when I go to kitpvp, but either way that is probally a hardware issue that just needs to be adjusted, sadly the only people with those answer are fuzzlr/onis. Ah I kinda answered the percentage thing if that what you were talking about:

What I was trying to say is that if it only gets rid of 1/2 of the hacker, that is still 50% less hackers to deal with.

I never said it was going to SPAM local, and they times/minute can be adjusted to whatever we want.

Okay so, you agree that this will possibly 'stop' hackers, but that is why it needs to be tested to see if it actually makes a big difference or not? IF not then remove the bot nothing but 7 days of time or whatever no losses! IF it works great, less hackers in kitpvp! This is not a "100% stop hackers" idea cause even anti hacking plugins don't 100% work! This is ans easy hey this SHOULD make some difference and be super duper easy to do idea.

This is no different then fuzzlr bot running around spawn and people trying to talk to it all day and getting ignored.. they don't rage quit.

Yes, this will happened wither the admin bot it there or not, its the hackers fault not the stupid admin bots.

So if there is only ever just 1 hacker in kitpvp why do I see like 20 reports a day? Also, there are many bonuses to this admin bot being their as current stuff could use this to their advantage.

I bet the adminbot could also do this, with a bit of work.

Just look at metr0's idea, it's much better then this one, it requires a bunch of npc's in kit.
If those npcs are hit it auto tempbans the player who hit them for 7 days

Another point- people are going to be talking about the bot, in chat, using the term "bot." If they didn't realize it already, hackers are going to find out relatively quickly that the supposed "Admin" in kitpvp is a phony.

 

-1 this idea is extremely pointless. The majority of hackers get caught by staff within 5 minutes of joint kit.

 

you must not play kit often then, it can take quite a while

most of the ones I've had experience use the 'minus' key to open the console.

 

I've used about 5 differemt clients in the past with all of them .(command) does a command, so it would work with the most used ones like nodus and weepcraft

Or you could just simply hire staff to only moderate PvP. You wouldn't need that many. Just a few with different time zones and who are active.

 

Staff is not paid, so this is not an option sorry

I have used the npc mod on my server there is an in plugin option to have it say things

Also the person who is the bot dosnt have to be online or a player for those who dont know, they can set it to a random name give it a prefix in chat and tab and be done with it to set points for it to walk on they just have to select the npc and select points for it to touch. I belive there is an option to makw it go to random points too

Edit: it would be cool to have it pick an online staff and have it as that player too

 

if it does pick up an online staff it would be even better since most staff are super active in global chat, this will make it even more convincing that the bot is actually a staff

 

Update: its a plugin not a mod accidently said that
also another problem when they do /g and whatever a staff might be talking about it says the server they are on...
