Introduction: Hello! My name is Lauren or otherwise known as GalacticShawty or Shawty for short. I've been playing Meepcraft for about 6 months now.

Okay, before you start "-1"ing me, I'd like to say a few things. I know some people may say "12 year old helpers are immature, arrogant, and not helpful whatsoever." I'm here to show you that I am not one of those kind.

A few words to describe me may include: kind, patient, determined, mature, generous, and hard-working.

In my regular non-Meepcraft life, I enjoy playing volleyball, participating in Crossfit, writing long vigorous fiction, and hanging out with friends.

I often times help knit with the elderly women in my church. I often get teased for my knitting skills, but in my opinion, knitting is quite fun.

I'm in grade 6 with straight A's. In 2nd grade, I was nominated to be in the Gifted and Talented Program which allows students accepted to think at a higher level and overcome challenges.

I first found Minecraft through my brother, 2 years ago. I played on single-player maps for my first 6 months. Eventually, I came across Youtubing Minecrafters. I watched Skydoesminecraft play on Mineplex and I tried it out. I began to grow tired of Mineplex after 6 months and went back to single-player maps. For 6 long months, I played lonely. Then, I saw Meepcraft on the top servers list. I knew I had to try this out. I logged on, and I instantly fell in love with the community. Ever since, I've only played Meepcraft.

Why you should be Helper? I absolutely adore being a leader. I love to help people in general. My father was a medical assistant and I guess you could say I want to follow in his footsteps of assisting people. Helping folks are my forte.

Commitment:
I am willing to make a long or short term commitment to help those in need on Meepcraft. I would put other people's needs in front of mine.

Communicating:
I'm great at communicating with other Meepers. I'm a fast and accurate typer which may serve a tremendous help in tight situations.

Responsibility:
I feel that I am quite responsible. I manage many things in reality or not such as: a bath bomb business or a beta town.

Work Ethic:
If I want a job done, I have determination to get the job done. I'd want it done right. I am prone to pulling all-nighters. Regardless of how tired I may be, I had made a commitment to finish an assignment, I will finish the assignment.

Justification:
I feel that many of you haven't seen me on either Team Speak or Meepcraft. If you haven't, just look for my name in /g. I talk constantly...

Being a helper or a mod or an admin isn't about the power. It's about successfully helping those around you to make the server a better place.

Being 12, it is hard to pass as a helper. In real life or in Minecraft, you are still defined as an adolescent annoyance. I want to prove that I can help make the Meepcraft community a knowledgable venue.

I feel the need to produce commonalities for the fellow players.

What are your weaknesses? 1) School
I go to school 5 days a week. I'm stuck in the dungeon from 7:45am - 2:15pm UTC

2) Parents
Sometimes parents can be irritating. Once you try to fight back, BOOM, you're grounded.

3) Stubborness
I can be quite stubborn when it comes to arguments. If I truly think i'm right, I will fight to make my point loud and clear to prove that I have the solution.

4) I don't acquire any knowledge of helper commands
I am a quick learner so this won't be a problem.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Like I said, I don't know almost any commands other than /tempban or /kick

Hello GalacticShawty, What I have noticed from you in forums is, you are very spammy. You spammed and necro'ed many posts just to get rid of the "New Member" tag, which is very annoying. From what I have seen in forums, you are immature that just means you are immature in game too. I never saw you help or talk in chat. It's a -1 Good luck.

 

Any comments I have on the app are either in blood red, pink, and violet.

-1. Reasons:

Saying this as basically an intro is a real turn off to people reading. You could have produced a much better and more positive intro.

• Majority of your weaknesses aren't weaknesses except for the "Stubborness" which is common.
• Being in school is not a weakness. Majority of the server are in school still.
• Parents are once again not a weakness. Mostly everyone who lives with there parents have these problems.
• Not knowing helper commands is not a weakness either. You are taught these and learn as you go.

• Put more time into thinking about the contents of your application before posting it.

I feel like your app could have been a lot better, but for your age it's actually not bad at all.
I think you could be a good candidate for helper, but I'd like to see more out of you. Get active IG using /g or /shout, Use forums more until you get at LEAST active member, and get on TS a lot.

 

+1 I'm the same exact age and parents.....well let's just say well especially dad they r kinda mean....but u seem a little shy or something to talk in the chat I know people sometimes think ur annoying I have 2 little siblings who get me in trouble a lot but as I just Said +1 good luck

-Most of your weaknesses are things which everyone else are struggling with. Except stubbornness.
-You are 12, its ok age but you should tell how you stand out from other 12 year olds.

I am on -1 due the fact I have never seen you, I am online every day for multiple hours. Sometimes I am afk, but I still watch chat, and I haven't seen you even when I am afk and just spectating chat. Also, I am not sure if you're ready yet.

 

If you compare between this guy of 'the same age' and the app, it's actually quite a good app.

 

FYI: Age isn't a consideration, generally, more so maturity. The youngest we've accepted was 11, and she went to supermod.

Pros:
Not some 2 year old applying
Only seen you online once, and we are in the same time zone.
FINALLY someone says "not about the power", because normally it is about the power, just saying.

Cons:
Parents - I also have troubles with them, I feel you there.
Helper commands - Easy, /ban <player> , /tempban <player> <datediff>, and you get colored chat.

For now, I am a +/-

 

Helpers do not have /ban and have a lot more commands that you think they do, and I mean a lot. That is not even close to the power they have.

Anyways, reserved for my vote.

 

i really don't know on this one, I'm 12 too, and making my app was a bit tough too, so I'm not hating on you or anything, but its a -/+ atm for me...

Ive seen you in-game, though I'm not sure about the spamming either...

 

I've been on Meepcraft for at least a year now (If your wondering why it says "New Member" it's because I just got a forum account recently), and I haven't seen you help at all. I think everyone has parent problems (It is not just you), and I simply cannot process the fact that you are playing 12+ hours of Meepcraft per day on the weekend. It's tough to fathom the fact that you can play that long. Same for 10 hours each day of the week. Did you make a typo or not understand the context of the question?

Can be on meep for 10 hours on a weekday seems pretty legit.

 

Also, you made thread where you asked should you apply for Staff which you deleted later. Definitely not ready, my vote will stay on -1.
