You probably don't have enough residents to claim more unclaimed chunks.

Yes, this could also be an issue if you haven't got many/no members, you only get a few chunks to start with.

    *cough* I'm a nerd.
In order to do /t add, you have to be a recruiter, assistant, co-mayor, or mayor.
You also need residents. I'm not sure of the number of plots each resident you add allows, but I think it's 8.
Joining a nation (just ask in /w for a nation and /accept) will give you a plot bonus of 140. Most nations do not have tax, but there are some that do. If you join a taxing nation, be sure to have enough money in your town/personal bank.

you'd probably need to join a nation, without one, you can't claim more than 15 plots i believe (correct me if i am wrong) But, i'd be more than glad to add your town to my nation. Another problem could be that the place where you are trying to do "/t claim" is not attached to your town. The chunk NEEDS to be right next to your other plots, otherwise, do /t claim outpost to claim land in other places. Hope this helped.

/t claim is 1000 per plot and /t claim outpost is 5k, so beware
