Introduction: Hello. My name is Johan Viljoen, and I am a 14 year old boy.

I live in a town called Secunda in South Africa, and life there basically revolves around one big petrochemical company with a major fuel production site. They sponsor everything, clean up the town, and basically ensure that the people have a positive environment to live in.

Anyway, my favorite sport is chess (yes, chess is a very competitive sport!). Some of my friends call me lazy because I don't do organised school sports like rugby, but there is actually an excellent swimmer locked away in this body. I'd like to think that my best characteristics include hard work and honesty. My favourite hobby is playing the piano, which I have been doing for 8 years. I am fascinated by all kinds of music, and experiment with other instruments as much as possible.

I actually don't talk much and prefer to listen, because in my view listening is much more productive than talking. It also fits in well with my friends, because they love to talk about absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I have to admit that my Teamspeak usage is rather low, but it's mainly because of connection problems. Also, I don't have Skype because the need has never arisen, but I can easily get it if necessary.

I love school as a whole, and at the moment I am leaning towards becoming an electrical engineer, though high school is making me rethink that.

Why you should be Helper? I have been involved in various leadership roles such as Class leader, Library helper or captain of the chess team for several years. My value system and commitment have always been supportive in leadership roles.

I really enjoy leaving someone that asked for my help content. The challenge of leadership has always energized me, and I love seeing my team or associates satisfied with my help.

When someone gives me a job, it is as if the challenge of the hunt rises in me, and I usually don't do anything else before I have finished that assignment.

I want to become part of the server's staff because I love a challenge to my intellect, and I think that becoming a staff member is just the thing for that! Also, I always feel a bit useless when I see someone needing a staff member when no-one is on. (Which happens a lot in my timezone)

What are your weaknesses? First and foremost, is my lack of patience. I absolutely can't stand it when someone is acting like an idiot or can't figure out something that is laid out in front of them. I can usually keep this in check, but sometimes it is almost too much to handle.

I tend to be a perfectionist, which can sometimes make me a real pain. In the same category, I'm a bit of a workaholic, but I don't know how much that will affect me.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: English is my second language.

Haven't seen you for ages, you were my assistant before on my previous towns. You are really inactive and I don't see you on teamspeak and on forums. I don't see any helping in game too or in forums. I hope you fix this and you might change my vote! -1.

 

Yes, you are completely correct. Almost a day after I joined OgreHeights, I was forced into a period of inactivity by my parents, with no chance to tell anyone about it. Who are you? I have never seen you before, this is probably time zones, but I have never even heard of you before.

Your application is up there on the higher part of the scale, but I have never seen you on forums, team speak, or in game. Improve on this and I'll think about giving you a +1 but now, it's a -1 from me, sorry.
