Take out Combat Log in kitPvP (Heck, take it out completely)

In kitPvp when you are killed, you are not allowed to select a kit until 10 seconds has passed as a result of CombatLog. It discourages chat in kitpvp because by trying to select a class before 'you can safely log out' it literally fills the entire chat with 'you cannot use commands while in combat'. I've never even heard of logging being an issue in kitpvp in the first place. In short CombatLog in kitpvp is extremely annoying, inherently unnecessary, and time inefficient.

In comparison to the rest of the server, what can be improved on CombatLog is that 'being in combat' resets upon death. I'm sure that would relieve many concerns, especially those concerning beheadings.

Logging was actually an issue in Kit, as people would log off on the middle of a fight and prevent people from getting kill streaks.

I don't see why a reset after death wouldn't also be a good idea in Kit, rather than completely removing it.

 

Learn something new everyday. In any case, I feel, at least for now, that CombatLog is doing more harm than good.

Disallowing teleporting

 

See that all the time.

 

Disallowing teleportation will still be a problem to those who are beheading someone.

 

Imo, it shouldn't be applied in wild, and towny. Then we can simply allow logging in town arenas, then the problem is solved and decreases our workload.

 

Almost forgot, selecting a kit in kitpvp technically counts as a teleport, but I guess with what you suggested so far, this would be easily solved by not having kits teleport anywhere.
