ADD SLIME BLOCKS BEING ABLE TO BE PUSHED WITH PISTONS!!!!

There is no problem now with slime blocks being pushed by Pistons nothing bad can happen because it's all been patched it needs to be added back it would help so many people with clearing water moving items, grinders and more!!!!! There would be more good thing coming out of it than bad.

 

*sigh* they were nerfed because of GRIEFERS, and it is seriously not a good idea.

well, I looked onto the forums, onis said that they were nerfed because griefers, but it didn't say why

 

Ever heard of Missile Wars? That is something that can clearly grief plots, and nothing can be stopped if this contraption is moving of its own free will.

 

They have patched all those anyways

I'm not sure if it's patched or not but here's a video showing how slime blocks can be used to grief buildings. I agree with you that slime blocks should be unerfed as we can use this for a lot of stuff however, as you can see above it can be used to grief people. :/

 

I have seen a huge sand harvester that used slimeblocks and pistons once...It was awesome

You can't grief with this. If it hits 1 block it will completely stop. And on whoever's plot it stops it leaves all the valueble slime blocks and pistons.

 

Can you provide proof of this? If so, a HUGE plus 1!

 

I tried to build this to prove it, but I couldn't get it to work. I was able to build a small version though.

Griefers get banned, contraption either gets removed by staff or claimed by the person who was griefed. It's the same way with Towny plots getting griefed, is it not?

 

Not exactly. The machine keeps pushing stuff along and unless staff get to it, it will move along until it has destroyed the entire towny world. But apparently it is fixed.

 

It can't destroy the entire towny world. Pistons can only push a maximum of 16 blocks at a time, so it would not get very far before it just stopped.

 

Well, I would like staff ideas here. But I love the idea!
