Pokemon ability: Pickup

This might be a bit far out but I thought why not suggest it.
In Pokemon, certain Pokemon like zigzagoon, teddiursa, and others had an ability called "Pickup"
What this ability did was while you walked you Pokemon would randomly pick up items and you could take the items from the Pokemon. c:

Why not add this to pets so when you would walk around with your pet out it would be able to pick up random items for you. And make it so the more expensive the pet is the better the "Pickup" ability is.
Like I said this suggestion is a bit far out but I just think that pets should have a bit more purpose other then following you.

Items could vary on the pet too such as :
Iron golem picks up iron or iron tools/items
Rabbits can pick up rabbit hides or feet
I don't plan on putting much time into a full item list unless its actually considered or if I am asked to but I do have great ideas!

In the game (Pokemon) they are just random items that appear after a certain amount of time. I'd assume that's what Summrs are going for.

In Pokemon it ranges from something cheap, like a potion, to something valuable like a nugget. To put that into perspective potions are worth 200 in game dollars while nuggets are worth 5000.

If this is feasible, I think it's a good idea.

This a helpful way of explaining this suggestion a bit more thank you c:

 

I think that the most expensive ones I believe in the millions should pick up great things such as diamonds, because for the cost, the benefit isn't actually all that much unless you play for a very long time.

There should be a plugin so that you can only earn drops after a certain amount of time IF you're doing something or moving. If you're completely still and AFK, you won't get any items. There should also be a popup and description of it so people aren't like: "Why did this random piece of cactus spawn in my inventory?"
