When did you join Meepcraft? 2013

Introduction: Hello everyone my name is Jayden aka NewZealandMaori. I've been playing meep for roughly two years and have enjoyed every little bit of it but what do I do when not playing meep? well i'm glad you asked I attend Karamu high school and I am currently on my final year before I go into the Royal New Zealand Air force (RNZAF). I also attend Air Training Corps (ATC) this is where every Wednesday night and some weekends I go fifteen minutes out of town to the bridge pa aerodrome and I learn all about the New Zealand defence force I also get to fly planes. I am seventeen years of age and love to hang out with friends including hanging out with my in game friends on this server.

Why should you be Helper? Now to get to business why would I like to be a staff? Well I would like to be a staff member on meepcraft because I feel that I can help the wider community with the skills that I have obtained through a youth workers course that I am currently doing at school and with the skills that I have obtained from this server and minecraft it's self. And i also love to help players when they need it.

What are your weaknesses? We all have weaknesses as humans and my weaknesses are that i can sometimes be a little immature like most teenage boys can be but that is only in ts with my friends that know me quite well. Also i can tend to rage in ts when i am in the League of legends channel when i am loosing.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: If accepted i will be giving it my all to the members of the community to help them have the time of their meep life

You didn't seem helpful at all, you team and trashtalk on people in PVP, and I never saw you helping until yesterday, when you kept on spamming "Has your /modreq not been answered yet? /msg me and i will try my best to solve the problem " While I appreciate you trying to help, doing things like this are overtly a sign of you wanting to look good before posting your app--a sign of desperation.

When you show that you can be helpful for a sustained period of time and not only the day before you apply, I think you will be more ready.

I forgot to mention that this

is really vague and doesn't show why you should be helper. Give examples of how you are suited for the position, and why the skills you obtained through a youth workers course will apply.

I don't think I've ever actually saw you in-game since I've been back, therefore I can't say much about me seeing you helping on my part.
Your forums activity isn't all that bad.
Can't say much for Teamspeak.
I don't know how to put this any other way, but your application was very weak. I don't really think that you put much effort into it all, considering your why section is 3 lines long.

Your introduction wasn't all that bad, but you never really introduced yourself all that much.

Your why section should be the part of the application you focus on the most - 3 lines is not nearly enough to do so. You say that you feel that you could be helping the community if you were to get a chance of moderating the server, but why can't you help without the need for the staff rank? Although you mentioned that you have developed the skills from participating in a youth workers course, you forgot to mention any skills or qualities that links directly to moderating a server. Although it's not mandatory for you to have staff experience but you said above that you have been staff on other servers, but you haven't said anything about the experience you gained from that, why? You say you love to help players when they are in need, and that's exactly what the job of a staff member is, but it's the exact same thing that I see in more or less every staff application. You should have at least provided us with some examples from when you helped a player who needed the help.

Again, you put very little effort into this section as well. You're correct that every person has weaknesses, but you never put in any weakness that would directly affect you from doing your job as a staff member, it seems that you just put any old bit of text in here to hide from the fact that you feel you have no weaknesses.

Overall, I feel that you aren't quite ready to partake the role of a staff member just yet. If you aren't going to put any effort into your application at all, will this be the exact same when you are actually performing your duties as a staff member?

At this moment in time I do not think you are ready. I have seen the inability to handle situations on your own. That is a necessity for being staff.

I've never met you in game but on forums, to me you were rude and had a snobby aditude, when I was trying to help you.

 

I'm a -1 atm due to past maturity issues, and a lack of a visible resolution of those.

 

also the app was a little lacking -1 for now.

That is actually very common

 

How is that being desperate? People do this all the time, replying to every post is desperate.

The app was short, small grammatical errors that could've been easily identified with a proofread, why section needs to be longer.
Introduction was good and you got some reasonable weaknesses.

^ This is going overboard. You shouldn't interfere with staff work. I know it's being nice but how you going to solve a grief case without staff etc.
