When did you join Meepcraft? Early 2013

Introduction: Hello my name is Felix and I'm 14. I am currently in Year 10 and starting my 2 years for my GCSE exams. I enjoy racket sports - especially tennis and football.
I joined meepcraft in 2013 when I didn't know much at minecraft. At that time I spent time with my friends in a town and we had a laugh. Then I quit minecraft for a long period and came back in early 2014. My bal had been reset and I didn't have much on me. So I started my way at the bottom earning money.

When I then had enough I started a town called Lake Valley which ran very successfully and that is when I was earning a lot of money (around 2mill) At this point I had financial support and a great town so I decided I wanted to give back to the community so I applied for helper. With many -1's I wasn't feeling to good about it but the staff decided to give me a shot. I then did fairly well in the interview and was given the role of helper, I was overwhelmed with excitement.
For the next couple of months I grew and grew in confidence in taking action and dealing with people and using Hawkeye.

I had a great deal of fun and with a good amount of experience and modreqs under my belt I applied for mod. This was denied, rightfully so as I had only been helper for 2 months and I should have waited. I just got slightly over confident and this drove me to apply for mod too quickly. I then quit meepcraft - this wasn't related to the denial - as I was about to face my end of year exams. I felt that minecraft would get in the way of revision and succeeding in my tests. Now I have finished them I have come back to meepcraft and am having a great time.
One reason why I am applying is because I miss you being on the staff team. Being dedicated and helpful.

Why should you be Helper? - Experience: Yes I've been staff members of plenty of other servers but apart from the role of leadership I don't think it is very relevant. As said many time meepcraft has a community like no other server. This means that the way that we deal with players is different. Yes punishments are similar, but I think to have the right experience you need to be a part of the community to understand meepcraft as different.

The time being a helper on meepcraft means that I have some background knowledge of how everything works. I know more easily how to navigate around the staff forums dealing with reports and ban appeals. I have learnt how I must be dedicated to modreqs; this means not only working on them efficiently but while doing them, do it in detail while being as helpful as you should be and regarding the player as if it was your self in need of assistance.
I am aware that Hawkeye isn't used anymore but I looked a bit into what is now used and already have a basic understanding of it. I noticed that a lot of it is very similar to Hawkeye only much better with some new added features.

Dedication - I believe I am very dedicated to meepcraft and the fact that I am applying a second time possibly shows that I want to help the community. I spent about 95% of my time on minecraft with meep and even if I'm not on I regularly check the forums and go onto team speak to see if there's anybody on to talk to.

Involvement - The benefit to my activity on the three aspects of meepcraft means that I'm fairly involved with the community. I usually know when something's going on and if I don't, I will ask someone about it to stay up to date as I think it is important to be as a staff member particularly to understand people's questions and have a general knowledge.

Performance - When I'm given an opportunity to do something in real life or on minecraft I almost always take it and make the most out of it. When I have a certain role I always perform well putting in all of my effort. This is so I can get the job done well and proper, as this is needed to do well in anything including being a staff member.

Activity - Since I have rejoined meepcraft I have been very active, especially recently since I've just started my summer holidays. But when it ends I will still come on with a good level of activity on all three aspects; which is important so people can acknowledge you and appreciate that you are there to help. I'm ingame and on the forums a lot as well as team speak which could be improved.

Also because my time zone is different too many people, although I am often on around peak times. However it means that sometimes when I come on, there are usually only one or two members of staff on and quite often they are mods and admins. This means that if you file a modreq it will take a lot longer because even though they still do them they have other things keeping them busy, and that is one of the reasons why helpers are needed.

What are your weaknesses? Probably my main weakness is that I don't talk a lot on team speak which means people don't necessarily notice me as I can be quite shy. But over the past year - especially since I was helper last year - I have grown in confidence and talk much more regularly in team speak so I can talk to people of the community and communicate more clearly. Occasionally I can say something that I instantly regret which could make something awkward but I have worked on it and it is now very rare.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I would love to be given the opportunity to give back to the server once more and be more involved with the staff aswell as the community.

Smaller servers in the past. Mostly closed down I think as one was with a friend

 

It seems like your trying to avoid telling me the truth. I think this is a lie. I want to know the servers names.

 

Like I said they have been small servers. Mostly I cannot remember their names that is why they are not very relevant as it's just given me a better understanding of the role of leadership since I also used to own a server with my friend. They weren't any very well known servers
