Meepshop

Can we change back the ''new'' meepshop to the old meepshop (shop with signs)?

Here are my opinions:
-cause lags (maybe, items are presenting as an item dropped on the ground)
-more bugs than old shop (/itemc cancel)
-too complex compare to the old one ( you need to click to check prices, and you need do /itemc cancel to cancel the order and /itemc cancel is bugged)


Advantage of old shop:
-clear ( you know what item it is and its price by just looking)
-not lag (i don't think signs and item frames can cause lags)
-less bugs (i think the old shop has no bugs)


*the price of items change? I think we can replace the sign by a holo (the floating words)

So do signs. Each item you see currently is 1 entity. Each sign is 1 entity, each letter on the sign is an entity. Therefor, signs actually cause more lag than the current system.

- It's truly not that difficult to use, if you can't figure it out, welp....Sorry?

 

It'd be nice if the current shop worked a lot better then it does right now. I hate having to do /itemc cancel (which doesn't even work atm) rather then being able to fluidly look at all the prices. The pholos are okay, but if I'm laggy they don't always come up.
+1 for signs, or just a more convenient shop in general.

Are you talking about /warp shop or the vshop?

 

/warp shop, because you need to click the carpet to see the price of that item and you need a command to cancle the order... that's too complexe... Commands and plugins are here to make stuff more easier, isn't it?

How about this: when you move you aim the item, a pholo will appear and shows the item name and its price.
I don't know if phole like this will lag or not but I think that would be better than sign (lag) and carpet (complexe).

 

I think just removing /itemc cancel would be ok..

 

I mean, if you want to strive for performance, a GUI shop would probably be optimal. No place to go, no lag, get what you want.

I wish the vshop had the old text interface rather than the new GUI. But hey, I'm just happy to have a vshop at all.

 

you mean, an admin vshop? so the command would be /shop and let you choose which shop you want and you click and then you can see all the items in that shop? This would be good too, because you don't need to go to the shop with /warp shop and click item and buy them with commands...

 

It's basically a question of what you want more.

Aesthetics, or efficiency.

 

Since the Meepshop is now added, I dont see a use for /warp shop...

 

efficiency, because I don't think why do we make a shop very very beautiful....

 

Signs are lame. The new system really isnt that bad,
