Introduction: People Know me on the server as Silesia1980. I currently live in Australia, spent a lot of time in Russia, Poland and Germany. I worked 2 years as an English teacher in the Polish Army and 8 years as an Interrogator and 6 years as an English Teacher in a Polish English School. Birth of my daughter 2 and a half years ago and suffering tragic health problems have taught me what is truly important in life. Made me grow up literally overnight and turned me into the person i always knew i was inside. I love the game of Minecraft and the community of Meepcraft which i have been part of for over 3 years. Held previous positions as stuff and my return to meep left me wanting to give back to the community that has been part of my life for over 3 years.

Why should you be Helper? Having been part of the server for quite a long time as well as having help previous staff positions, has given me great insight and experience on how things work in the community and server. Been through the good and the bad times of the server including my run as staff during the Chaotic Cruelty-gaming era. Being staff during that era is some of the best experience i could have received. Extremely challenging managing the ridiculous demands of Cruelty and the needs of players. More often then not decisions made would alienate a lot of people and or staff as one would try to do a balancing act to make the server run well.

Want to use my previous life experience as well as being a former staff to help make a positive change in the server in which ever way i can. I have invested a lot of money and time into this community, have had a lot of fun being here. Want to ensure that all new and current players enjoy the server as much as i have using my experiences to make it happen. Supporting players with more then just doing modreqs an catching cheaters but also with life experience and helping them solve their life problems thus making their experience here soo much better.

What are your weaknesses? Like all people have a lot of weaknesses which i constantly have to work on to minimize their impact in everyday life. Being at times very difficult to keep them under control. I had to be very tough in life thus i am worried i would be very tough in enforcing the rules of the server thus alienating, annoying players. Have to work really hard in taking into account all things before making decisions too quickly and harshly. Not to be just black and white but to also take the grey in between into account.
Passion in catching cheaters consumes my time and thus loose the prime focus which is to help and support the players and their issues.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I am a very determined person and my little daughter and former sickness has made me soo much more compassionate and kind towards people then in the past.

You also are power hungry. You sold out your friends and those who trusted you (me included) for a high ranking staff position during the cruelty era.

yes I will, basically no one should ever trust this guy. I was starting a server with him and he was providing the financial part while I did the server side, built stuff, set up stuff, and etc. After working my heart off because I actually thought the server could go somewhere... Silesia locks me out and blocks me on everything that I could contact him via. He took 100% of my work and eventually made money off of it. (basically a version of CrueltyGaming)


I would love to speak with you again to see how you are and etc because I actually liked you in some ways, but you have no respect from anyone in meep.

you haven't been on meep for 3 years... you were inactive for nearly 2. When did you join? During old meep or meep networks?

meep is extremely different from when you were around, that would mean you would have to learn how to be staff over again and all the new plug ins in place.



I kind of want to hear back from you to see why you did certain things to me in the past, I want you to prove yourself other wise. At this point in time, I can't see you being staff ever.

 

This is a joke, right? This staff has no room, or time for the games I've seen you play, ridiculous.

@Current Staff - I've never been so onpoint in anything in my life, this applicant will result is disaster. I'll PM you the details, logs, staff chats, or whatever else you need from that era.

 

I hope someone on the staff team has been around long enough to know just how false this is.

Absolutely, I'll see what I can rummage up, in the meantime ask any staff that was here during MeepNetworks, the story is much the same

I think the guy is alright on a personal level, but I remember him cursing out kids in Teamspeak, telling people who got promoted it was because of him, and he knows how to "play the game"

I think Silesia in a staffing position would shred any work I, or any of you have put into the staff.

 

Hey it's Old_Pink, welcome back to Meepcraft Silesia.
Disregarding the fact that apparently you barely even play, just came back, bad app, etc. (I'm forum banned/don't keep up with events here anymore).

Over a year ago you were possibly the worst staff member on Meepnetworks excluding CG. You act like you were just trying to do the best for the server during your time as a staff member during MN, but in reality you were a tyrant who sucked up to CG to work your way up the staff hierarchy. Like Deinen said, you were extremely rude and condescending to players which was completely uncalled for. To anyone who wasn't around during MN, please don't comment here because you have no idea what Silesia is really like and his past on the server. Note that all of the staff recommendations are from "new" staff members, no one who was around back then would ever recommend him to be even a helper. This is not even mentioning on the last staff app he had, after 25+ -1's while being a "respected member of the community", he rage quit Meepcraft because he couldn't handle the criticism. Not staff material at all. I told myself I wouldn't ever post here again but this guy is just so bad that I couldn't stop from helping myself to one last comment.

-1 The only thing I have seen from you is your introduction. You may be an "old meeper", but that doesn't matter as the sever has changed DRAMATICALLY over the course of 2 years. You need more time to get acquainted to the server and to have enough experience with the new features to help out newer players.

There are also older meepers making claims about how you were dishonest in the past. I don't have proof that these claims are true, but when four veteran meepers are talking about you being dishonest, I'll believe them.

 

There are always two sides of the story, please that that into account in this process. Accept and agree with freedom of expression and people expresing their views in an appropriate manner.
I agree totally i was way too tough while dealing with people and staff, the way i enforced the rules was innapropriate. I am greatly sorry for any pain caused to anyone.
Another point raised of me locking out of the server my partner after a huge amount of time being invested. Security breaches, access to console which was given to friends who then trolled and damaged the server. Nothing was done about it, thus all the remaining partners made the decision to lock him out to protect the server. Never did the server make any money. I agree the way it was handled was rough, but done for the right reasons as the security hole was not pluged up.
Rage quiting, i had extreme chemical poisoning brought about training i did in Poland. My organs were starting to fail thus i was facing a life threatening condition. That is the reason for my leaving the server suddenly. I came back way too early applied for staff again too early when my health was still quite bad and had to leave again.
Selling people out for a high ranking position, there never has been any evidence of me doing so. I went to all these people which there was a group made and warned them that cruelty was investigating them and to be very careful.

Agree on a lot of points of me being extremely tough with people and upseting them with my enforcement of the rules and disagree on a lot of others like i ratted someone out and stole which is something i will defend till my last breath. I am more then happy to talk about everything raised here. This is not the right place to do so.

 

I don't really see you helping in game; I rarely see you on (time zones?) you're not super active on forums, and you have allegations brought forth from very well-respected MeepCrafters about trust issues. Usually, I try to avoid parroting what others say on staff applications, but from what I hear, these trust issues aren't enough to justify me saying "The hell with it, give him a shot."

There seems to me some lingering issues from MN and other servers and I was hoping that there wouldn't be any issues but it turns out there are some serious things to deal with. Until we can get things sorted out we can't accept this.
