Remove PVP from dungeon

I believe that PVP belongs in the wild and terrarium only. It is difficult enough to get loot without someone backstabbing you and taking everything. There seems to be no honour, with people in God armor and gappled up killing people with garbage or no armor. I don't play terrarium and now i don't play dungeon.

 

Its a pvp arena with a twist. Otherwise it would just be people running around killing mobs and taking loot chests

Plus anyone who gapples to kill someone in crap armor probably shouldn't be in the dungeon

I got frustrated one day because I couldn't hit this girl that was in the dungeon because she had just spawned in. But, she could hit me. I had all of my good gear on me. She proceeded to kill me and took my loot. I mean all is fair, and I mean cool I was killed, whatever. But I think that when you spawn in dungeon you should have a 5-10 second grace period where you can't be hit, and you can't hit anyone else.
I agree with @builderjunkie012 when he says it's a pvp arena with a twist. It's fun to have pvp when you're in dungeon imo, so I don't think removing it completely is that good of an idea. It's a challenge because you have to fend off mobs as well as pvping with other players.
Just add that grace period.

My point exactly, terrarium is empty and everyone is running amok in dungeon. Remove pvp from dungeon and everyone has to go to terrarium for pvp.

People just do /warp dungeon, grab any chests within the 10 second time frame and either /home or /warp dungeon again. You can never really kill anyone.

i think that the dungeon needs to be bigger and have more random spawnpoints. i've been spawnkilled a little too much...(as in someone appearing behind me and killing me)
i've lost about 3 god sets now...

 

We don't want a wave of bug reports about mobs having buffed up strength and health. Also, this isn't a smart idea.

 

At this point, what distinguishes it from airship?

 

I freaking love the dungeon.
Get a pot of fire resist and dump lava everywhere
I even made an obsidian fort in the dungeon by placing water and lava

 

^ This here. Without pvp, dungeon would be like Airship, and then almost nobody goes into Airship since they can go in dungeon, where there's no time period. The pvp stays, even doe I hate it when people spawn-kill. There just needs to be more spawnpoints at different locations, maybe that will help. Also when you just spawn in dungeon, you can't hit others, this would help too.

 

Huge -1. This would make all of the items in the dungeon even more worthless then they already are.

 

This is not going to happen. Dungeon is being revamped though. I think you'll love what Paincake has done with it.
