Castle siege.(kind of)

Hello,

Having thought about this for quite a while, I want to propose a castle siege minigame. It's not a full blown castle siege game like I've seen on other servers. It is designed with strategy on the part of the attackers more than it is mass pvp oriented.

The game will be played at night with the defenders at 4 players and attackers at 2 players. Items are as follows:

Attackers:2 players with items consisting of:

• Black leather armor (able to be taken off)
  
• 2 invis pots (3 min each)
• 16 steak
• Stone sword(unenchanted)
• Bow (Punch 1, Power 1)
• Bucket of water
• 16 blocks
• 2 reg. golden apples.
• 25 arrows

Defenders: 4 players with items consisting of:

• Iron armor (unenchanted)
• Iron sword (Unenchanted)
  
• Bow (power 1)
• 15 arrows

I know that this is horribly unbalanced. That's the way it should be.
The aim of this is to make the attackers have to think a bit. Not rush in..
The goal of the minigame is to kill all of the players.

 

seems a little unbalanced. but the idea is interesting.

 

Combine it with Ctf and you have to capture the flag and bring it back to your base.

 

Will the attackers respawn everytime they die? Or do they have a set amount of lifes?

 

So what your saying is that we should make a crappy knockoff minigame out of a crappy knockoff minigame?

Maybe to win you would have to shoot this glowstone core in the middle of your castle and you win

 

There is a mini-game similar to this on Mineplex called "Castle Siege". There's I think 20 players defending the King (they are able to place fences) and at least 2 mobs attacking.
It's better if we came up with something original than a similar copy of another mini-game.

Um sweaty? You just said the name of another minecraft server? You know that that could cause players to leave meepcraft and chargeback their purchases here right? If we want this server to be successful, we must have all of our players playing on this server, and not even thinking of other servers. Don't you see the damage you've done?

The difference here is that the attackers are forced, because of outnumbering and unbalancing, to think a bit instead of madly rushing to kill a king.... It would be smaller in scale and more strategy than rush to win.

 

What do you mean by 'forced'?

 

If they wanna win, 2v4 is a bit unbalanced to just rush in and pvp..

 

Denied, do to the fact that people dosen't seem to want this minigame and the amount of holes in how it is set up. Example, not specifying the amount of live each player has was kind of a deal breaker. Also it dosen't state how long a game will last if noone wins, for all we know it can be 1 hour you are looking for or 5 min. Please be more detailed the next time you make a suggestion. But remember we always like to get suggestions so if you come up with anything els please post it. Have a nice day
