I'm not. I definitely do not love guys like that and I am only attracted to girls.

 

Realistically speaking, only a small percentage of the population is 100% straight or gay. Let's just assume you're part of that small percentage.

Lol, there are only three options though: You love people of you gender, of opposite gender, or of both genders. Since we know that people who love either their own gender or both genders are rare, we can then determine that people who love the opposite gender are common. Yes, the only three options are to either like your sex, the opposite sex, or both sexes; however, liking both sexes does always mean that you like them both equally. For instance, 60% of the attraction that you feel could be to the opposite sex and 40% could be to the same sex, 70% could be to the opposite sex and 30% could be to the same sex, and so on and vice versa. There could be a large amount of people who are not 100% gay or straight, but believe that they are because they feel such a small amount of attraction to the other sex that they don't ever notice it.

 

In other words, people who are split 50/50 are unlucky, because they don't feel that much attraction to either?

 

Its not about having 50% of love towards a male or female partner.
Its about I'm just not going to be attracted to 50% of guys, same with girls. Once I find someone I love, I will love that person 100%.
That being said I'm def not 50/50... My sexuality is like one of those bendy rulers. Pretty damn straight, till you bend it xD

 

the percentage being thrown around here is more in terms of how likely someone is to be attracted to a certain sex. 50/50 would be you're just as likely to find a male attractive as you would a female. This adds on to the whole "everyone is a little bit gay" in that it's honestly highly unlikely everyone is 100% only attracted to a single sex, it's just overwhelmingly one sex so they ignore the smaller percent entirely.

This is also why I believe a lot of lesbians came out as bisexual first, because they acknowledge that they might be somewhat attracted to males but eventually figure out it's pretty much just females. ((This isn't to say bisexuality is some Rare Sexuality™ that can only be achieved when you're 50/50 on the dot, but rather that your preference fluctuates frequently))

I mean, that could be the case for some, but for most people who are split 50/50 (at least in my experience), they feel as much attraction to both sexes as a straight person would to the opposite sex or as a gay person would to the same sex.

It's not that the attraction that they feel to the same sex takes away from the attraction that they feel to the opposite sex (or vice versa), it's that they (basically) feel attraction for double the amount of people, and 50% of those people are of the same sex and 50% are of the opposite sex.

For example, let's hypothetically take a group of twenty people. Ten of the people are males and ten are females.
-Let's say that we take a straight person and show them the group. For arguments sake, they are attracted to everyone of the opposite sex (ten people) within the group (twenty people).
-Now, let's say that we take a gay person and show them the group as well. For arguments sake, they are attracted to everyone of the same sex (ten people) within the group (twenty people).
-Finally, let's take someone who is right at 50/50 and show them the group. For arguments sake, they are attracted to everyone of both sexes within the group (twenty people).

So, 100% of the people that the gay or straight person is attracted to only equals ten people, whereas 100% of the people that the 50/50 person is attracted to equals all twenty people. Therefore, 50% of the people that the 50/50 person is attracted to could be exactly the same as the 100% that either the gay or straight person is attracted to.

(Realistically, people at 50/50 aren't going to be attracted to everyone of both sexes, in the same way that straight people aren't attracted to everyone of the opposite sex and gay people aren't attracted to everyone of the same sex; however, this was the best scenario for the argument).

TLR - If anything, they are much luckier, since they have both sexes to choose from equally.
