When did you join Meepcraft? Late December, 2012

Introduction: Hello Meepcrafters! My name is James, I am the everyday average middle school kid. I usually spend my time assisting my teachers, and fellow students. I am part of an "elite" system made up of 8 - 700 kids. We are part of the S.O.A.R program, we are a program who find friends for lonely, sad, upset, or disabled kids. Our main focus is to help special needs kids be more social, kinder, and more understanding. We are selected from 700 kids, we have to be kind, mature, helpful, patient, and overall "elite". So lets go into my Meepcraft life. When I started Meepcraft, I had no friends, no life, and no help. So, 7 or 9 months after me being on Meepcraft, I decided to buy the rank of Elite. After I had purchased what I thought was the "Ultimate" rank, I made a friend almost instantly, his username is, "Rhyshawk". He told me everything about Meepcraft and the perks of Elite, today he is the first friend I made on Meepcraft. Okay, so lets get back into my real life. I am an athlete, I do soccer, swimming, and BMX. These 3 sports have surprisingly majorly impacted my life. I don't know if it was the action, or just over all excitement, but it has changed who I am. Okay, lets go back into my school life, I usually get the average grade of B or A, but then sometimes I get the all time low of C or even F. Normally, I get great grades, and my teachers always have thoughtful, and kind comments about me in and out of class. Getting back into S.O.A.R, we also are put out on the feild, and playgrounds to help people who have been bullied kind of redeem their trust for others, we also stop bullies before they even "attack" their victims. So anyways, back into my Meepcraft life, I hope to become friends with all and every Meepcrafter ! I hope to see you on TS, Forums, and Meepcraft!

Why should you be Helper? I think I should be a "Helper" for the following reasons.
As a student, my teachers always put me as an example for the class and tutorials/announcements. My students call me a "helpful comedian" all tho, we all know what I really am , I think I would be a good addition to the staff team because, I have patience, kindness, and the usual laugh! S.O.A.R has helped me become more able to help people and understand their issues or issue with another player. Now, I will never need the "Helper" tag to help someone with their request for help, or issue with another player, or even if its the player them self that is having a problem. I am pretty easy to get along with, and I will never ever ever hold a grudge on anyone for anything. THIS PART WAS EDITED IN. I believe I have helped, or tried to help as many people as I can in Meepcraft. I try to assist anyone in need, from commands to basic rules on Meepcraft. I usually aim to help citizens, or any other players, I enjoy well.. "working" with them and letting them know all the commands and such.

What are your weaknesses? My weaknesses are usually, having trouble communicating with the person, or a lot of times, being annoying some might say, I can also sometimes go AFK for a reason that I don't bother to type in chat, so the person I am talking with gets very confused. EDIT: I do have a tendency to say "hell" or "damn" a lot in game, but I will be trying not to. I also have called people "names" in which I am trying my HARDEST to stop. END OF EDIT. I am working at my all time hardest to work on all these weaknesses, or at least I think they are weaknesses, please tell me if I am wrong!

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Some other useful information is, I have a lot of homework this time of year, so I *might* not be able to be on for like 5 hours a day x'D.

I like your enthusiasm, but not in smiley faces.
-Maturity is a bit of an issue here.
-You have/had a problem with calling people things. I've told you to be nice multiple times, to not call people names. I'd never bothered to screenshot them, because I didn't think you would consider helper.
-You told me you would apply in a month. YESTERDAY. I told you to be patient, to let your reputation to round out a little more. I told you you weren't ready, that helper is far from something you can reach now. At this point, there is no way that you've turned out for the better already.
-Your introduction was longer than your "why I should be Helper" section. That says something. Your app is probably too short then.
-Your "why I should be Helper" section was nothing really specifically related to Meep in any sort of way. It was talking about your helpfulness outside of Meep, but it doesn't necessarily translate over to the fact that you are at that level in-game.
-Your "Give us any more info we need to know" section: Are you going to lie about the number of hours you play? If you're going to be honest, do it in the correct section.

-1. You're easily rushing the process. Slow down, be patient. For now, you are simply not cut out for helper. I'm sorry.

 

Hey! I'll give no vote as of now.

You seem really nice and easy to talk to which is a plus. You are also active, which is a plus. Not that this is a bad thing, but I feel like within the past few days since you've changed your name it was pretty obvious you were going to apply for staff. Not calling you a try-hard or mini-mod or anything, you should just spread your work out, not rush it all in a few days then apply. But still it's great to see you helping!

You have changed in maturity from what I see, which is great, I love to see people becoming a better person. You are also quite active!

I'll change my vote when I decide you are capable of the job; when you have taken in the feedback myself and others have provided you.

As far as your app:
Try to keep your "Meep life" out of your intro. The sole purpose of it is to get to know you better in real life.

Try to just list your weaknesses, then talk about them in another spot. From what I saw, you only have two weaknesses.

As far as how I feel with you being helper:

While you are a great player, and I enjoy talking to you, you have show too much immaturity in-game.

@Baby Elsa , @LegendaryBeeLord , @SpongeyStar Thanks for all the feedback, BabyElsa, I am not lying about the amount of time I play, sometimes I can go 5 hours for some reason, the reason I put 1 - 3 hours is because that is the usual amount of time. Also, it was a pretty bad idea to apply yesterday, for this I am sorry. I have no actual idea why I said i'd apply in 1 month, because that turned out to be a lie. @Rhyshawk Ok, I will work on all of, thanks! Here is the problem with your comment, I enjoyed reading all of these posts, but on your specific post, you asked for IRL friends. I have no idea of knowing the type of person you are IRL, i'm sure if I knew you, I would be able to help you find friends, but for now, my advice is, be nice, and maybe they'll come around!

I have never seen anything negative from you in shout. You seem to be fairly nice, but your application is not a very solid one.

You spent an immense amount of time on your introduction, bragging about some school something or other, saying you have great grades, and talking about sports you play.

You refused to give your age, even though it is required. It makes me fairly curious as to why. I mean, saying that you're a middle-schooler makes it fairly easy to guess, but why?

As someone who's in accelerated classes, such as yourself, you should know that your introduction should never be longer than the body portion of your essay (application, in this case).

I have never seen you on Teamspeak before. In order to be staff, you should be fairly active on it.

Just give us your age. It's not that hard. I didn't want people to know I was 10 years old, but I eventually told the truth after I had lied about my age.

One of the differences between these two paragraphs is that your intro's length is longer than the 'Why?' section. That, in my mind, isn't really that great. Instead of giving every little detail in life when you joined the server, use that kind of skill in the Why section.

You had wrote this big thread that you were going to "change" yourself and try to change your ways and how you acted in the Community. That was posted not long ago, and I was seeing this coming, too. You want the Helper rank, and if you are perfect for it, work hard in earning it. Just because you're going to make a "big change" in how you are on the server doesn't mean it will take little time. It needs to last for at least a month. Other players and I want to see how well this "change" will be and see if you are qualified for Helper.

I don't really know you that well, and I don't know much about what you do in-game, so

@Oroperion Also, for an accelerated student, I am actually the youngest in my grade, so I shouldn't say "average" at all. Infact my age and my grade is everything but average.

hey Spanishspider, out from what i've seen, you are overall a nice guy but i think you would have to improve a lot on the "name calling" before becomming a staff member. When i was a Citizen you were one of the reasons i didn't have the guts to talk in global chat, because i was afraid you would start calling me names or making fun of me if i said something wrong.
I'm gonna have to be a -1 for now, but if you work more on your weaknesses and become overall more helpful then i could absolutely see you as a staff member.

+1 for me. You are very trustworthy in my opinion and I don't agree with most of these comments. You are a very humerous guy and I believe you could be one of the best staff members on meep! (like june or Miku as example) But do look at other peoples apps! Its frowned upon to not trust people with your age either. gl
