Staff application questions

I am wondering about applying for staff and what would be the best one to apply for. I can play meep most weekends about 3-8 hours and weekdays 1-4 hours everyday. I also would like to know what each staff does so I have a better idea what I'm getting into. Thankyou for your time and have a great day! <3

 

What do you mean by which staff to apply for? You apply for Helper, get promoted to Mod, get promoted to SuperMod and than promoted to Admin. You can't apply for the others. If you mean Media, Arch, and Tech then you need certain skills.

 

Forte, IMO you'd be a great staff member, my only advice to you is don't get sucked in. By that I mean don't let other staff members influence your votes on things and you just go along because others do too. Be confident and always take the path you think is best.

This--always do what you feel is right, and don't give into peer pressure, even if it means sacrificing short-term power.

 

So... basically. If you are an exceptional builder, can finish huge projects, actually enjoy building - apply for Architect.

If you are really good with video producing/editting, have a pleasant voice/self-presentation - apply for Media.

Otherwise apply for Helper, haha.

 

being helper is like being a teacher--if you can't do anything else you at least have helper to fall back on

....I kid, I kid...

 

I am NOT a fantastic builder, I do like editing pictures but because of have no experience with video editing I don't think that would suit me very well. Helper seems the best option for me so thankyou all for explaining this to me. I hope if anyone else who wants to apply and don't know what each staff means that they understand and can get help if needed. Thankyou again and have a wonderful day!

 

It may sound cliche but be yourself, don't change yourself just for a staff position and always listen to peoples opinion, remember that another players way is not the only way. Be you and you shall be great!

I personally think you've got what it takes to be a helper, but like the others said, don't let our votes influence what you must do. Do what you feel confident in, if you feel like you won't take the job well, wait a little while!

Hello Fortemizuki, I believe we don't know each others but you seem to be a very nice person.
As for your question about staff, if I am not wrong there are 4 types of staff..
- Devs: People who create, update and fix codes, they're not many I believe and they're the angel guardians of the server itself!!!
- Architects: Basically artists! Those who design, build, and amazes all of us with their inception.
- Media: Those who work on the image of the server by recording and making good videos, covering events, reporting news etc..
- Moderators (helpers/Mods/SMods/Admins): Those are the good guys among all, they may not be talented into building, they may not be good at coding, they have a lack of experience in making videos and stuffs, but they're the ones that will come at you when you need them, they even forget how to play because they like and get fully dedicated to that duty they volunteered for, they're part of the community and they live among the community, they face stress sometimes, hate sometimes, but then they they face a person who was in need and that is now thankful because they helped them, they know they did something good, something that this person will never forget and without noticing they smile, best feeling ever I swear!!

You seem to be a really good person, and I liked that you asked about staff before applying, that means you're interested into helping develop the server in general and that is a good step in your thousands miles journey. I wish you a very good luck Mizuki ^^
