Towns Delta

What i'd like to see is a new towny world with a sort of faction feel to it. Perhaps a new town world with wartime and peace that happen regularly and to protect your town from raids you have to buy some sort of plot protection for that wartime. If you go further, possibly having purchasable iron golems with different stats to defend certain areas. It may sound far out but just food for thought.

You look how many people online, and you calculate how many people per world. Meepcraft is already laggy, and you want add another server...

This would attract more players to the server with a custom plugin.

 

you want make server more laggy? And a custom plugin doesn't mean people like it.

 

Now, of course I won't say it won't be more laggy but not many towny servers have a big custom plugin. Thus, is the players wanted something new they could join us.

 

The idea was good, but what I was wondering is that the new town server may cause lags, like wild (wild is extremely unstable).

So far the only good argument is that it may increase lag.

 

@ADAM OP Please tell me how this is good.

- You say this help us because we have a custom towny plugin. Do we not already? We have so many additions, it is pretty much custom. Plus, adding 1 extra towny world doesn't make us custom.

- The economy. I don't see how it would massively affect it.

-Lag. Sure, let's add in a whole new world. It'll be just fine. No lag, right?

-Attract more players. I do not particularly see how this alone will attract more people. We have custom mini games, a custom towy plugin, and many more unique features. 1 world added that is EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OTHER WORLDS won't exactly mkae us stick out.

That's my 2 cents

 

I'm not saying there won't be lag.

I hardly call this a custom plugin. The plugin is open to the public.

Again if we made a whole new plugin made by one of Meeps developers it would be unique.

It would drain some of the economy from people making towns.

 

YOU barely call it a custom plugin, but guess what, it is. We've made so many additions. And adding 1 towns world, as I said, that is exactly the same, does not make it unique.

If you've read this thread, you would see that we were going for a towny world that is:
1. Updated to 1.9 terrain (unlike the current town worlds)
2. To have wars between towns
3. Other things that I'm not going to waste my time explaining.
So please read the rest of the thread =)
