MeepCraft Prison!!

This would be a prison where you could make meebles. You couldn't bring your loot out of /warp prison (right now called /pwarp ult2). So if you want this to happen like and vote yes!

 

Could you expand on this, because as is, it sounds like dungeon with no loot

 

Well, you sell what you get there for meebles and yeah kinda like prison on other FAMOUS severs.

 

He's asking you to explain it more, not be a smartalec and go "well it's on famous servers..."

 

In a prison server, you join and start as the lowest rank of prisonor
you can mine and such to earn money while avoiding being killed by other prisoners and hidding contrabands from guards.
You use your money to buy your way to the next level, which includes more/faster and safer ways to make money.
the next level is more expensive though, but you are less likely to get killed.

If you play long enough you will get enough money to buy yourself free and help your mates in the prison from outside.
Well, that's basically all we can do on prison servers.

 

There are now 2 different types of prison servers, which kind are you wanting?

The Classic - with contraband weapons, guards, and you have to move into pvp areas to get to the shop. Shop plots would cost in game cash per week, Prison cells that lasted for a week before you had to rebuy (or your stuff could be lost to whoever bought your cell)

The New- You get tp'd to a mine and you just mine, no fall damage and you have an OP pick. Rank up with cash and shops are @ the mine. No pvp unless you're in a pvp mine. Guards aren't necessary and donor / vote mines are available. Plots are free etc.

If it's like the newer prison servers, then it's boring af. The older ones you had at least some danger before selling to a shop :/

First time I played Prison: died to hunger or players and/or couldn't sell anything

I used to play what you call classic, back in 2012. It had a huge black market of weapons armor and potions as such as they were illegal in the prison. I remember as a noob scraping together enough cash to get a small cell, and then taking some days to make some insta damage 2 potions. Then when some others were fighting I ran in with 9 insta damage 2 potions and got all of their stuff :3
From there on out I started renting a whole plot, and made a hidden basement where I ran a brewery.
Some months later I was basically one of the so called kingpins, but then the guards ransacked my plot and found the button to my basement. They took all my stuff and sentenced me to 45 minutes in jail. (You may be wondering, a jail within a jail? Yeah, basically a 1x1 cell only made of iron bars and out in the open so all could see you and approach you, and when you were in that cell you were also /muted)
It was so much fun.

Anyway, I don't think it'd ever work on Meep. Most of our playerbase is young, and one of the key things about a prison server is no chat rules at all.
I would love a classic prison gamemode, but not on Meep.

I was once a guard on a prison server, and there was a town specifically made to kill us guards. I visited everyday to see how they were progressing. They had full god armor and the only contraband were the swords... Well, we weren't strict about the contraband, so we decided to have a war against them. Those were the days...

 

If this added something to meepcraft wasn't unique, I'd +1 it. But Meepcraft will make it's "special" twist on it that actually makes every person hate it. It's why we've killed this server.

I'm going to rephrase my previous comment. We need something like Prison on here. Although it might not be something you like, thousands of other people do. And although we might not want players coming here for gamemodes like this, it's how we get players in the first place. Meep was not unique at first, and at first we were rocking 1000 players. If we put money into something like this, it gives new players some familiarity which will then allow them to eventually shift over to our gamemodes. But otherwise, Meep will continue it's downward spiral to death.

 

This was coming ages ago. It was abandoned. Doubt it will be implamented

I agree and disagree with the prison server idea, yes It would bring in more people because of the "prison" part and might be like another server the players likes..but what about mini games..I can bet you if we took games from everyday life that everyone can play, that kids and even adults will play the game.
