Make Meep great again!

Hi kling!! Ever since I met you youve been amazing and are probably 1 of my greatest friends on here. Here's a suggestion I believe could make meep a lot better!!
+have more server community events
+welcome everyone
+make newer popular minigames that will bring people to our server.
And lastly
+be kind to everyone!! Even if they've done something to you

When i joined meep i just got really happy to see someone actually noticed me and i guess that's one of the reasons i choose to stay.

It is a small thing to do for others but it means a lot.

Totally agree on this. I never got welecomed in chat, but the first town I joined made me feel a part of something great, and fun, which convinced me to stay.

It's good to see people welcoming new players. The small things can make big differences.

 

Our community is something very special and i have never experienced anything like it on any other server.

This is very true, if only more people would start doing this.

It's doesn't have to be be anything major but just simple stuff like showing them around and helping them get started really does a lot. I usually invite them to join my town in either alpha or beta, even both if they want to, and i have only got positive reactions. It's always good to make at least 1 friend on your first day. When i join other servers i usually ask where to get started and if i don't get an answer, i quit. Most people needs help finding their ways around the server.

So just take some time and if you see a new player asking for help, just take 5 minutes and show them the basic thing's on the server such as Towny and Wild. It gives nothing but joy to help someone get started. Who knows? They may stick around with you for a long time.

Yeah I see a few towns that invite their players and do nothing with the players, one of the thing I will be doing soon within my town are fun events for people to do.

I guess, but wont that just get turned away by Fuzzlr like factions?

The whole purpose of this thread is to suggest things Fuzzlr shouldn't turn away. It shouldn't get turned away. Factions shouldn't get turned away. They just are.

 

I mean I think meep is pretty great now but...

 

OK I have no idea if this would help? Community event would bring us more close and connected. Also maybe the minigames. But we would need tech for that. @Kling

 

It is stupid. The more times I havent wanted factions, I suggested it a couple of times back in 2013. It should happen.

 

You know I made a post that said I'll make a long post... I decided to keep it short and sweet.

• It's hard to make money as a citizen. There needs to be a /fix sign for 10k per fix. People just want to play the game and not grind for hours on end to make enough money to finally make a town. (more ways to make some cash for more towns to be created / expanded)
  
  
• Another problem are the broken minigames, we really need to fix Infected / HG. They've been down for too long to be an excuse anymore.
  
  
• Wild needs to be updated every month or so.
  
  
• CTF needs to be faster paced, with a mine full of iron blocks so there is more "capturing" than "mining" Also, this needs to be 2 teams
  
  
• Airship needs to have better resources, no one goes to it because the rewards are just awful.
  
  
• When will we finally bring back dungeon? It's another thing that was actually fun and rewarding.

More of a rant, but you can clearly see I want this server to come back.

I do this all the time when people join my alpha town. I give them supplies and show them all the world's so they can enjoy meep and feel included. Just giving them a plot won't do anything guys! You have to support them for them to support meep.

I spent so much time making that town, and in the end I achieved my goal, of having "A community within a community".
Then Beta showed up, and it just died.
But the truth is, we will never be back to those days. So many things now are a joke. Nothing works, Hunger Games and Infected have been down for months. Most of the community is a joke. If a player isn't toxic, they're a minimod (arguably even worse). There are so few players now who just want to play and have fun.

I would give anything for Meepcraft to look like what it did the day I joined in late 2013.

 

So why don't Fuzzlr and the admins make it that way? Also, we need more frequent wild resets and better airship loot. I mean, stone swords? Seriously?

Exactly! That's like the opposite of a vicious circle. You support the new player, they support Meep. The "community" supports them for supporting Meep. They support the community that supported them for supporting Meep. Etc, etc, ad nauseam.

 

Because it isn't possible, lol. I'm just dreaming.
