Monitor Help

Yeah so, my current monitor that I am using isn't the best. Has really bad screen tearing (I can see it when I hover over options when right clicking, heh). I have no idea what to get or what brand is trusted, the only requirement is that it is 144hz. My current monitor screen is 17 inches wide and what seems to be 9.25 inches tall.

Very well priced, meets the requirements, and is very versatile. Good buy, I'd say.

Never had to buy one because mine has never gone bad. Wish you luck though.

 

DOOOOOOOOOOD First off are we sure its the monitor? Its when you right click stuff? This could be a file problem in the hard drive or more comenly you have a damaged GPU, unless the monitor over heated or you dropped it off the desk It makes no sense why the monitor would be tearing. Also if you were already planning on getting a 144hz monitor I would wait and make sure you don't need to get a new gpu.

 

No, it tears in any game where I move quickly. It also does that weird rippling thing in the middle.

Lil can you please say what the box says? Screens are usually measured corner to corner. E.g. I play on a 21.5imch monitor in my room.
