What is worse, Marijuana or Alcohol?

One thing I don't think anyone has brought up, is that smoking marijuana leads to lung cancer (smoking anything, really)

 

There are ways to avoid lung cancer with cannabis: edibles, vaporizers, etc. The risk of lung cancer is not quite the same as it is with tobacco products, as long as chemicals are not added the risk of lung cancer should be left to the risk taker.

 

I mean, alcohol is used more than weed in the medical field to like, clean stuff, right?

 

No. Not drinking alcohol.

 

Alcohol that is used to clean things is completely different than drinking alcohol. You will die if you drink alcohol products meant for cleaning lol.

 

Both are pretty bad depending on how you look at it

 

How are you looking at it? Cause as I see it marijuana makes someone lazy while high and some short term memory loss.

Some people might claim marijuana is dangerous. Some people say it's fine. It's actually a mix if both, as marijuana is fine consumed on several occasions per month/year, but can be dangerous as it is here in Switzerland, consumed on a daily basis. It has been proven that marijuana accelerates the development process of schizophrenia, if consumed regularly.
However, you can not overdose, unlike with alcohol. And there isnt an physical adictivness, but it's mentally addictive with some people, much less than alcohol.
Alcohol is dangerous for several reasons.
The first one being overdose due to excessive drinking, which happens everyday.
The second one is the addictive side of alcohol.
Side effects are just as bad as lung cancer if consumed to much.
I'm not saying that majijuana is something good, donlt get me wrong (even though some might disagree), I'm just saying between that between alcohol and majijuana, you can't tell which one is worse, because it really depends.

 

I say mix them together and enjoy the ride.

You don't necessarily need to smoke marijuana, vaporizing heats the marijuana to a temperature where THC is taken in without "smoke".

 

They are both bad and good for you.
They say drinking a few glasses of wine is good for you, some people use alcohol as a stress reliever, some use it just to have fun because hey they can.
Marijuana does help the sick people, it helps relieve stress, it makes you feel better.

They both have downsides.
Driving drunk does cause accidents and sometimes deaths, many people get raped while they are under the influence of alcohol, it causes fights, liver problems, beer causes weight gain.
Marijuana, impairs the brain, can also cause accidents while driving and deaths, it can lead to other drugs, it can cause fights, it makes people act different for more then just one night, up to 30 days but on average most people are effected for up to 3 days. Marijuana can in some cases (not too often tho) causes perm damage.

Now going to America:
Marijuana: I think it should be used for medical purposes only. (No, you can't self prescribe it to yourself, sorry not sorry). I voted for it to be used for Medical purposes.
As long as we are a welfare state, I will not support legalizing Marijuana.

Alcohol: This one is tricky as it is already legal. So! I think there should be a breathalyzer test put in every car, this would stop drunk driving.
You literally can't make it illegal, plus they already tried it once. I do believe certain alcohols should be illegal but that's my opinion.
