Why don't we have fly again?..

Okay, so after reading this: https://mojang.com/2014/06/lets-talk-server-monetisation-the-follow-up-qa/ Then I'm confused on why we still don't have fly. Just remove from the future purchase perks, and made available to buy in game for a while, but my understanding is those who paid for it are still supposed to have it permanently as long as you make it purchasable by everyone for in game currency. I also saw in the link you can't purchase meebles anymore for real money.. This makes me sad..

You do understand this happened yesterday. Right? Staff don't just snap their fingers and things happen. They need time to let things settle, then figure out how they're going to make things purchasable and how much and where and for how long, they put thought into most decisions just so you know.

 

From what I was told, they removed everything in a snap. Just re-add it in a snap.

They said it'd never be coming back, as in they didn't know about this most likely.

The thing is, this thread is about that. EULA obviously says prepaid things should be kept, so we should still have it :/. They didn't have to remove fly for those that already had it, but take it away for future purchases. Maybe they removed it because they didn't have time to add a fly note to shop? I don't know. Just bringing this to attention in case it's needed.

 

The same perks had to be available to everyone, so it was either making everyone have /fly or taking it away from everyone. As you know we only had a few hours to fix it so things are still up in the air for discussion (see: suggestion forum). And it's already been suggestion to have fly available for everyone, so hang tight.

 

Oh okay. Really hoping that the suggestion says to make it purchasable for everyone BUT everyone else who bought the rank can keep it perm forever as would not break EULA agreement. I think I've already seen it, but I will check it out again later.

EDIT: I understand time was right and a quick decision has been made, I'm just reassuring that people understand we wouldn't be going against EULA by letting legends keep fly perm after notes have been put in shop.
