Legend events?

Hi,

I was wondering if people thought it would be a good idea to let legends host events. they would have to have at least 15k or something to start the and some amount of that would go into the pot. I think this would be a nice new perk because i know many legends aren't happy. this would also increase the number of events. there would be a cooldown of like 15 minutes before someone could start another event.

I agree with this I think this would be a great idea!

If it happens too often it's not special anymore. I think events and the hosting are pretty much fine as-is.

 

You could put a larger cooldown time to keep it rare.

 

Thing is I just honestly don't see the point. I think it's fine. Maybe 1 or 2 can be trusted with host perms but otherwise no. I wouldn't trust all of the ults out there.

 

Can't this violate EULA or no since Legend isn't buyable?

 

The point is to give legends a unique and cool perk, without violating EULA

no because it doesn't allow legends to get any meebles any better than a cit can. EULA states that ranks can't make it easier to succeed than non donors. so you cant have op kits in kitpvp for donors. stuff like that. this doesn't actually let legends make any money any more than a cit or a prem.

 

But don't they have an advantage over players because they can create things that normal players can't and the events are not cosmetic?

 

No because citizens can join the events. the events aren't legend exclusive. (see what i did there.)

 

i like the idea but the price should be higher and there should only be allowed one event every 45 minutes

 

A large issue is that the only people that can host events is High Staff and they obviously always have something more important they can be doing, adding on I would personally get dozens of messages a day to host an event. I would like to see some Mods get the ability to host events just so everyone is no longer bugging the smods/admins and it can still be a rare enough occurrence to be considered a special event.

This is a creative idea, however, I don't think it's such a good one. Events would happen to frequently, as said before. And, if you made the cooldown a large amount of time, only a few Legends would be able to do it, making others disappointed if another Legend gets it before them, as they would have to wait another few hours. It's creative, it just has flaws.

 

you could add that you can only host one per week, (another ult could host one after the cooldown time, (maybe a few hours) but you would wait a week) so that way not only the really active ults get to host them.
