Enable Enderpearls in Towny Wild

I got stuck in a hole in towny wild and didn't have any way to get out because towny disabled item_use in wild. I don't think we can just turn on item_use because then people could place buckets and start fires, but maybe there's a way to still allow enderpearls...

 

+1, it doesn't seem like there's a real debilitating reason there disabled, i guess pvp arenas would have to add new rules.

I think they should be added. There was no real point in not having them. And now that no ranks except smod+ have /fly, it will make ender pearls a lot more useful. Might even raise the enderpearl economy a little.

 

i asked cooley or klutch or some admin a while back and I think they said it would encourage/facilitate easier trespassing. you can enderpearl over a wall that was meant to keep you out

 

No, it was only in actual Towns. I think shains is suggesting to enable ender pearls in the Towny Wild. If it hits some town's land, it won't teleport for you.

yea i just mean in wild. while i understand someone could potentially get around a wall still if they're standing in wild and there's a wall on the border, i still think it's really beneficial and i wasn't able to realize it until i lost fly

 

for the love of god yes I can't even begin to tell you how often I would have to call for an ult to un-stuck me during some lost plot case. Now there's no flying at all, so I can only imagine it's even more difficult. this would make life so much easier. +1000

 

Absolutly yes, this will hopefully bring back some demand for enderpearl

So the only problem with this is that it would allow for people to block glitch some places but... I liked this idea so much I spent some time making a quick fix for it so if staff wants to implement it, it will only take a second.

I see no reason for them not to be re-implemented into Towny Wild. It is incredibly annoying to get trapped in a hole . . . plus ender pearls are pretty worthless.

When Ultimates had Fly they could fly out of the hole but now they know how we feel

So while players wouldn't be able to block glitch with enderpearls anymore there is still an issue that they can teleport through one block holes. While it isn't that bad for places like spawn which is completely fine to go around in. It does provide a problem for players with large grinders who want to sell access.

idk as long as it only works in the wild it shouldn't be that much of a problem
