Removing shout tax

-100 meebles is very annoying especially when youre trying to save money and you arent even spamming when it taxes you so remove it

 

+1, I keep all my money in my town bank and I hate having to withdraw to say something. Not to mention after I do withdraw the money, I can't say the sentence I was planning on because of the anti-spam thing.

 

if you send 3 messages within 10 seconds you are spamming..........

I am in favor of anything that makes Austin talk less.

Shout tax is a good way to reduce spam, and I don't think you ever need to send more than 2 messages within 10 seconds.

-1 The shout tax is to deter from people spamming chat. There is no reason why you need to spam constantly. And 100 Meebles isn't that much for you to worry about. You can make 80x that amount by voting on the four sites. I say we should make it slightly greater or fix it a bit where you lose more meebles the more you spam.

 

if rage quit means quitting a dying server that i made more than 100x what you have then yes.
You ask me this on every stupid thread that youve made that i comment on LUL.

 

vote 4 times a day: Minimal 8K daily... and that was added back due to jobs. aaka removing shout taxes would only be fair if they remove jobs. its an economy thing. maybe instead of making alot of short global messages you should make Long global messages. and summrs is right. if you post more then 3 messages within 10 seconds you are basicly spamming...

If you don't want to lose money than don't spam. Simple as that. And look, I know you haven't been on the server for THAT long, but there were so many people who suggested this in the past. They all got denied. Staff isn't going to remove, and they don't have to.

-1, the tax was originally to stop spammers, but 100 meebles is barely anything. If you want enough money to talk, don't be lazy. Make your own money.

Anyway i'm +1 for this idea because if they really wanted to stop spammers, they would just make it so that theres a cooldown before you can talk again if you type 3 messages too quickly. this is just a cheap way to get money out of the eco that is more bothersome and annoying than actually helping with the economy or stopping spammers.

 

Shout tax rarely ever effects me. Maybe you should slow down on the chat usage.

 

I can. If you have to amend something you said, why must you wait. Those of us who type fast need it removed.

IIRC the shout tax limits you to 2 untaxes shouts per minute. which is dumb, and makes you have to pay for having a fluent conversation basically.
