Introduction: Hi my name is Etha_lightflame most people call me etha i am 16 I like art, sports and playing minecraft.
I have gotten to know many people in my time playing on the meepcraft server, wether it be from being a friend a neighbor or a costumer in a /pwarp anywhere really. in my life I have seen many kinds of people wether they were nice or mean and I know what its like to be a victim, I was bullied the majority of my life and for me nothing hurts more then when i see others gettting hurt by this others, I want to be able to step in and help people face the difficulties that other people create. When I say this I dont mean I want to jump in and ban half the server but rather just be able to say hey stop or you may be banned in the future.

I know that people are going to be unhappy I put no for (do you have teamspeak?) but I have tried and the client does not work on my current computer and I would appreciate if i am accepted for an interview if I could use a different site to do so. (rabb.it) <- I can use this client

Why should you be Helper? I wanna give back to the server in a way that says this server is a kid friendly environment. Also to be able to give a clear message when I ask someone to stop picking on another or to stop stealing from another player that if they don't there can be consequences if you don't stop.
Also I want to be able to lighten the load for some of the more busy helpers if i am accepted

What are your weaknesses? I try but I am not the person you would want to have edit your work as you can clearly see above for how talented I am at editing.
I am not great with sarcasm I can tell when its being used on the server most of the time but I am usually really really bad at using or understanding sarcasm.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: In grade 5 I was in a group called peacemakers and what we would do was make peace and supervise others and make sure everyone was ok.

I got to join a channel on teamspeak that you were in and it was very clear you don't know how to handle problems. You were also extremely immature and defensive if anyone said anything to you.

 

I think you have a lot of good qualities, but there are quite a few drawbacks, as well.

Etha, you are very active in-game, and always are positive about it. You can connect with people. You aren't afraid to be different. These are good qualities; not just as a staff member, but as a person.

On the other hand, there are a few things I'd like to see you work on. Firstly, you need Teamspeak. Shoot me a msg anytime, and I'll help you get it installed. Second, this application was rather sub-par, which is part of another weakness: forums activity. Just a few ways you can get active on the forums are: posting suggestions (but think these out first!), engaging in debates, and welcoming new people in introductions. Back to your application, it is much better than your last, and an certainly see improvement. However, it still doesn't tell me that much about why you should be a Helper. Thirdly, while you are always positive, it is in a very immature way. Immaturity isn't necessarily bad, but it not a good trait in a staff member.

My biggest issue with you as a Helper: you don't really seem to even "help." Now, I get not everyone answers questions in Global, but we need to see you trying to help people. As I have said in the past, the goal isn't to be a staff member, but to make the server better. Being a staff member is a tool to do so, but you need to show you will use that tool properly.

 

Look- if you don't have teamspeak you need to have a huge wow factor. I don't see that in you.
I see a heck of a lot of potential however.

Your application was a standard size but the content was rather immature. Especially the last section, that would be something included in the intro and definitely not in all caps with 3 exclamation marks because that shows immaturity
The teamspeak issue wouldn't go in the intro it would go in weaknesses.
The why section was below par. You gave be one good reason why you want to be helper and two meh reasons for why you should be helper. That's not enough! This section should he your longest one!

You aren't super active on forums so I can't really judge you on that. I don't know if posting in discussion is super important (considering how silly it is, but it is good for community bonding) but posting on applications and suggestions is a great way to up your forums activity.

In game you seem to be respectful and active but you should participate in global discussions more! Get your name out there as someone who goes above and beyond at all things.

You are objectively immature, and you have annoyed me severely with your consistent whining. You need TeamSpeak, and I recall seeing you having quite a temper, especially in arguments. Work on maturity, grammar, and whatever other opinions people will have.

alright, this is not needed in an application at all, keeping it out would have been better, you trying to tell me that you aren't racist on an application is unnecessary

just as the racism part, religion and racism on a minecraft application has nothing to do with helping/helper, makes me more skeptical of this application

Nah, tablet is fine tbh. You can use it for meetings and interviews. Or just have it by your computer for use while you play!

I live in outback Australia, that's a word a bogan like me would use in a job interview.
Now seriously I feel like more time should have been put into your application because I have seen you in game, you are active, kind and helping however spend more time on your app. It doesn't portray who you are and makes you look lazy and like you don't care as much as I know you do about the server.
You could become staff but this app couldn't

I don't even play that much, but I can tell you have hardly any staff qualities. You are immature, do not know how the server works, and it looks like you didn't even try. So.... Awkward.

Hey there Etha. I have seen you as an active member of the community for quite some time now, but I do not believe you are ready for the Helper position. You have a streak of immaturity, sparking arguments and adamently refusing to consider the other side. In addition, your application was poorly written and does not supply enough information for me be interested in interviewing you. I do not believe you can properly represent the server in an appropriate manner to benefit the team and the players. While this all sounds very blunt, I believe you can work on all of this to become a valuable player and possible future staff member. Good luck, but I rest at a -1.

 

I knew you as a very hardworking person who managed a good number of towns since you joined as well as a very ambitious person for staff, and I saw a lot of potential in you (and a lot to work on) until today.

Listening to you on ts playing skywars with someone else today, You were all like "Oh I'm gonna win // If I have these two items there's no way I can lose // I won! Hey, (name), I won the game! Wanna know what kit I used?" And when someone wanted to team with you to take down a potential hacker (yeah, illegal, whatever) you told them "Yeah, but I'm applying for staff right now, so I can't team with you." It was less the fact that you were trying to follow the rules and get others to follow the rules as well, but more that you said "I'm applying for staff.." You cannot use that as an excuse to not do something; you must be consistent in all your actions whether you're applying for staff or not. If you weren't applying for staff, would you have teamed with the people that asked you to team with them?

Sportsmanship is another issue. Sportsmanship is something you should have, even if it's not a game of sports or a Minecraft minigame. If you beat them at the game, sure, you can have your pride and joy for a few moments but it shouldn't be like "Oh I won, look, I won!" or "Yeah, see what ranking I am?" (Other person): "You're 47, I'm 43" and then you say "But that's because I don't play that much" and make excuses because you realize you didn't achieve as much as the other person.

-1. I don't moderate, and I didn't care to clarify the rules in that ts channel because I wanted to see how you would do, and you did not show me that you could be staff at this time. Work on focusing on yourself and your pride less, and I believe you can get staff.
