In the law the genders seem to be equal, when feminists complain about how "woman in video games too sexy" or something like that, regardless of wether they are right or wrong you can't really make a law or a company can't change its policy to "fix" that, so feminism in country's where woman and men are equal in the written law seems to be basically pointless.

Similar to other movements, such as the Gay Pride movement, feminism can still be necessary at times in first world countries. There are still sexists and such, but any actual unfairness is generally on a personal level, and does not affect all of society negatively. There are moments where one needs to say "Hey, that was pretty screwed up", but the fact that feminists have the ability to claim society oppresses women kind of proves that that is not true, and I would go as far to say that society in first world countries has become more supportive of women than men in a few cases (not enough to excuse meninism, however). The movement has all the anger and passion of the first few waves, but has the intelligence and wisdom of a 19 year old undergrad.

Feminism in first world nations has very little to offer for women. Third wave feminism is extremely misguided, to the point where any form of logical debate with a feminist boils down to flawed, self-serving logic and stretching statistics to front an idea that those statistics actually work to disprove. If anything, modern feminism only works to make women look like uneducated crybabies with nothing better to do than complain and ask for free things and privileges, which for the most part, is not the case. Feminism, however, is needed in countries like Saudi Arabia where there is daily systematic mistreatment of women ranging from the lack of social privileges such as driving a car, to the most horrific of "honor killings" in which they are killed by members of their family for doing something socially or religiously unacceptable.

There are still racists, but are movements like Black Lives Matter still necessary? One could easily argue that the movement and it's actions only serve as a catalyst to racist ideologies as well as a large contributing factor in racial divide

As I said about feminism and my brief touch on Gay Pride, I think it can be appropriate at times. Overall, all of these movements need an overhaul, something to make things more diplomatic than violent, and by diplomatic, I mean people talking with their mouths, not with their wallets *Cough Sarkeesian to the UN *Cough*. Where we stand now, the activists of such groups are worsening the treatment of who they claim to help. In the cases of Feminism and Gay Pride, they contribute to a mass babying that keeps women and homosexuals from getting stronger, and gives them a sense of victimhood, whether or not they themselves faced adversity. In the case of BLM, I believe that violent actions by the more... passionate of the activists is actually creating racists by reinforcing the racial stereotypes they claim to fight. I have seen the mistreatment of women for their sex, but I have also seen men mistreated, and as a man, I feel second class. I have seen at least two black men be shot down in my own neighborhood, but I have also seen a white man shot down, and as a white guy, I don't see it as a race issue, as all were by other blacks. I have seen people get beaten up for their sexuality, and twice people have tried to do so to me, and as a gay guy, I am ashamed of those that think all people are like that, and that all of society needs to pamper us. These movements as they are are killing our interactions with eachother. People are scared to speak their minds in fear of being called a bigot, a racist, a sexist. People are scared to interact with one another, in fear of meeting a bigot, a racist, a sexist. Everyone is getting angry, everyone is getting scared, and nobody wants to talk about what the movements are actually doing. Sorry for going a bit off-topic, but the same populaces that allowed feminism to leave its honorable roots and causes are the same that allowed similar movements to do the same.
