This lady is an idiot. Ban guns to save toddlers, but she claims not to be anti gun. Her husband Bill put a 10 year ban on some firearms, magazines, ammo, attachments, ect. that states now adopted as state law.

Lets play a game called "Who Do We Blame"

Parent leaves a loaded gun on a nightstand.
Kid picks it up and shoots his brother.
Who do we blame? The parent or the kid.

    Hillary blames the gun.
Do you see the problem here?

The child isn't wrong if he/she doesn't have a clue what they are doing!

Its 100% the parents fault. If you want to own a firearm, you shouldn't rely on a 9 year old, or any other person to not get a hold of your gun.

To the kids in this thread who fit this description: "Get's all his information from memes on Facebook and Google and doesn't even provide a source" and think they have any knowledge of guns, politics or society should simply stay silent. Too much copy pasta, this thread has literally given me aids, I am now dying.

100% agree, but If a responsible gun owner locks up his firearms, a 9 year old doesnt need to know because they will never be in the situation.

We all have loaded guns for protection, Mine are all unreachable by anyone shorter than about 5' 4" and all hidden, with no round in the chamber. Even if youre tall enough, and even if you find it, you grab it you need to pull the slide back which for anyone under about 15 years old, is no easy task. If you can figure out how to disarm the safety and rack it, you know what you're doing anyway.

I keep my gun unloaded and locked away in a safe and then ammo in a 2nd safe (Only I have the keys and code for them).
I blame the parents for leaving the gun out.

I would vote for trump if I could. @KlutchDecals

Thats a great idea if you're not too worried about protection. Many people who live in crappy areas like it have it in arms reach in case things go south quickly. It will take you a while to unlock the safe, load up and get to where you need to be to protect your family if you leave it like that.

If youre not worried about that, I highly suggest leaving it unloaded.

They'll only know to leave it alone if they're properly taught by their parents about guns and gun safety. Sadly, most parents neglect to do so for reasons ranging from neglect, not owning a gun, a "it'll never happen to ME" mentality, ect. However, it's best said that guns are not inherently dangerous, but lack of proper care and training gets people hurt in accidents.

builder you have no point what i am saying is that willl be the parents fault and sometimes the childs fault

a little more extreme version would be nukes are not dangerous.

My point is that 9 year olds will not automatically see guns as dangerous, and it's the parent's sole responsibility to maintain firearm safety within their household.
