Introduction: I'm Blake, mostly known on meep as _ima. I'm 16 and from SoCal. I'm heavily invested into eSports, mainly being Smash, CSGO, and Overwatch.

I like anime (obviously by my profile picture and other things), I like to draw.

My music taste is something to laugh at for most, being mostly vocaloid, jpop, kpop, jap stuff in general, and russian hardbass. It's very unique, if I gotta say.

Why should you be Architect? I feel like I'd make for a good arch because of my building style. My definite biggest strengths are medieval themed builds, text (as shown in a couple screenshots below), and fantasy. I feel like all three of these things will be able to benefit Meep, as it's towny and most towns seem to go for the (somewhat) generic medieval theme. I feel that medieval and fantasy are the two most used themes for themed towns, making them both pillars for towny servers.

I've also used worldpainter a lot, and I've gotten familiar with a few world generation plugins that I've had made for me, so I would be able to make a nice, custom /warp wild every once in a while.

Plus. experience. I was the previous manager of a build team, I've been builder on plenty of servers, I've lead build teams on multiple servers, and I've been pretty into building for years (i'd say it's getting close to 3 years now that I've cared about my builds). i think having a good amount of experience working on build teams, managing build teams, and leading projects show that I have qualities needed to become an arch.

Basically, I feel that my two main building styles work very nicely with Meep, and I think I could add a nice addition to the team.

What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? N/A

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Ban history. That's a glaring weakness that everybody will notice and point out. I've been working hard on becoming an active member in the community, and you can see so in my most recent activity on forums.

How much experience do you have using Voxel and Worldedit? Voxel: Not much at all, if any. I don't use voxel, because I usually have no need to. I've always just used worldedit in its place, alongside other building plugins such as goBrush for painting. I can do landscape with gB and then use worldedit to change the blocks/gradient mountains/etc

Worldedit: I've been using worldedit for years, and I've basically come to know the plugin enough to rely on it for almost all of my builds. I do not know every single thing about worldedit, and I'm not even gonna begin to try and lie about knowing so, but I do know well more than enough to get by and more. Like I said, I've grown to be somewhat reliant on worldedit, which (be it bad or good in your eyes) can show experience in itself.

Despite the fact that sometimes you have not been an exceptionally productive member of the community, I feel that as you will not be assuming a moderation staff team position, thus that is more or less irrelevant. In addition with this, I am not entirely sure that you can be easily trusted with such things as staff chat, given your history. However, the toxicity occurs less and less now, so it will not, in my opinion, be detrimental for you to be given a chance. Your application objectively features better buildings than the other architect applications. This is why I have no issue with giving you a +1.

 

Even though you, have been, a Toxic Community Member before. I think you're build's are great. And, Helping is not something you do as Arch. So if you Stay, out of the way, and do Not be Toxic, and if you just Build, you will be a Good Architect. But if you use your Architect Perms to, abuse and Dupe, then we have, a Problem. But I trust you Enough.

Seems like you know what you're doing. Would have liked to know a bit more about you and seen some more examples, but I got enough information from the examples you gave us.

Trust me I can attest to your toxicity, I remember when you were banned. You had harrassed Me, Jess, and someone else (sorry i forget) and kept saying how bad of helpers we were and such. However I do feel you've improved and have continued to improve as I see on your posts on forums, I like your builds

You are currently banned on the Discord. I do think your builds are nice, but all staff need to be professional some of the time. You don't need to be the friendliest person ever to be architect, I agree, but there's a difference between not being as friendly as say, Helpers, and being actively banned on one area of the server.

How many tries did take you to get unbanned? That just shows the amount of toxicity that you have been in this server. Your builds are cool, but I do not think that you have waited enough time to apply, as you have only been somewhat recently unbanned, to tell the truth. And how do we know you have changed? Not to mention, half of your references have been toxic in the past. I would rather not have the server misrepresented / a command abused.

While I understand the rest of your post, it's completely possible that he didn't understand the pejorative meaning of the word. It's not often taught that the word is offensive. Though I can't speak for imacutyou, I can say that people often use the term as an abbreviation for Japanese, which I think is the context Imacutyou was using.

However, like I said, I do understand the rest of your post, and appreciated you highlighting the meaning of the term "jap" for him--hopefully he'll learn and stop using it.

 

Calling someone a jap /=/ using jap instead of Japanese, I honestly didn't know it was still considered a bad thing to say and so I think it's more common to use it as an abbreviation than to use it as a derogatory term nowadays, but I apologize for the misunderstanding. I shouldn't have used the term.

 

Regarding your attitude apparently it doesn't matter. Glad that's out of the way.

From a professional Architect (In Minecraft) your builds are decent. Anybody who becomes a staff member will change how they act within a community. So you being rude and toxic to players/staff members I don't see being a problem. You'll do well as an Architect for the server.

Although I do need some more Pictures of your builds, a large resume.

Just out of curiosity (not trying to start a flame war or anything), but did you kind of just post here to brag about how good you are at building? If not, I apologize for misinterpreting your post. But if you did, there's an architecture subforum where you're welcome to post your builds.

 

The reason for me using my links in previous Applications was to set a bar of requirements. I'm not trying to show off, or prove that I'm better than anybody else. I'm trying to say that not everybody can become an Architect. Just because a person can build in a specific style good doesn't mean they can become an Architect. They must be adept, and know how to build in many styles.

I'm trying to set a precedent. A level all players should surpass.

Edit: Also look at me, I'm a great builder, but due to my attitude and toxicity against certain events that happened in MeepCraft I'm not able to become an Architect. It's 100% due to my own actions, but I'll never be given another chance to prove myself ready for such a position. It's something players need to take seriously and express themselves more for their applications.

Ima, your attitude is on and off, but I haven't seen anything malicious from you for awhile. It's at the point where IMO it doesn't matter as much.

I'm not? I wasn't being sarcastic. Look at you for instance. People were hesitant to allow you to become staff. But in your application you were just saying how you can control your attitude once you become a staff member. Which you did. I'm saying the same exact thing here.
