Is it too hard to make money?

This is a question that many have been asking themselves recently. There has been many arguments in /g about whether or not it is too hard to make cash so I decided to make a thread dedicated to the topic. Keep it civil and try to remember the point of view of the person that you disagree with.

 

No, players are just acting spoiled and don't want to work for the money, they want it handed to them.

how hard can it really be when the buttons are easy and there's hardly any thought involved?

 

I wouldnt really say its as hard as it is time consuming but it is supposed to be time consuming otherwise you wouldnt have a lasting game.

 

It isn't hard to make money, it's just BORING.

This isn't a real life economy, the fate of nations and environments don't depend on us sitting down and repeating a mundane task for hours.

This is MC, making money should be FUN.

 

Honestly they should bring back towny war and nation war. Or hold events where players can have huge pvp battles.

It's currently moderately easy to make money in my opinion. If it was any easier economy would be ruined. I agree that making money should be fun, but no one can come up with a good suggestion so we shouldn't be blaming Klutch.

The problem is that the game is too grindy for some. Minigames are underpopulated. The shop is kind of a joke and the vshop isn't much better.

 

How about contests? How about I give 5K to the person who builds the best giant ham sandwich in creative?

I think @PixelPizza has the right idea: if you want to earn money a specific way, move the economy so people see that as a way to earn money. Why do you think slot machines are popular with pwarps? The answer is that someone wanted to be able to earn money using gambling and they set it up. People will follow a trend.

If you want contests: start some.
If you want more selling to players: start a shop which buys goods from players.
If you want to make the server have better jokes: write a joke book and sell it.

People who are bored of the economy system need to change the economy system. The economy of any part of the world started off as trade item for item, and now it is full of raw materials, produced goods, services, stocks, information selling, bulk buying, specialization, and even advertising. An economy only changes when somebody chooses to change it.

So don't complain hoping the staff will implement some economic system: find a way to implement it yourself.

 

No, it's actually easy and for the people who call /jobs "slave work" to earn a buck obviously don't know what slave work truly is. The economy here and the amount you get paid is fair.
