Introduction: My name irl is Anthony Ly. I like to play games and minecraft is a fun game I play. In minecraft I like to meet with other people, that is why i play towny servers and play meepcraft. Meepcraft is the best towny server I have ever played on.

Why should you be Helper? I like helping people.

What are your weaknesses? I'm scared if i become staffand when someone needs help and if I don't know what to do. I don't want to be demoted because I really like meepcraft and I want to be a staff.

Hey, your application needs to be much longer. I suggest looking over past applications to see what you should put in each section. Your introduction should be longer, talk a bit about your hobbies or yourself. Your why section should talk about your strengths, and why you would be a good helper. You should also ask for references: people who think you would be a good helper. Try to be more active in chat, specifically helping people. Get to know commands and show that you have what it takes. -1, but good luck.

 

So, just to name off the basic flaws of this application:
-Very short app
-No references (I'd suggest to ask for some)
-Never really heard of you before
-Weakness isn't really a weakness; a general fear

Continuing on, your "Why" section is just... why?
You didn't go into full detail on how you can be a good staff member. Saying "I like helping people" isn't a good reason. I've seen stuff like this all the time outside of Meepcraft, and those who choose that overused phrase as their reason never works out for them.

You need to put more into your weakness section, too. Yes, first time staff members anywhere will get that fear where they don't know what to do in certain situations. Just try to help at the best of your abilities. If not, ask for help from another staff member. None of us are perfect. But try to add something like... you have a short temper, you are inactive, etc. (Of course, none of them apply to you, they're examples)

And please, PLEASE, for the love of God, don't include abbreviations in your application. Makes you look unproffesional at times.

What I'd suggest to do is try to make yourself known on the server, forums, and Discord. Answer any simple questions peeps ask in global or local chat. But don't try to mini-mod. Doesn't really "help".

I'm afraid to say that this is one of the shortest applications I've seen on meepcraft and it contains little to no information that we need to consider you. You should treat this as a formal, job application where more things are required.

Hey Grey. I talked to you yesterday and I thought that you hadn't posted this yet, but you did and I'm really proud of you for that! I think you're a really bright and fun kid and you would be a fine helper. I don't know if you're ready for any further responsibilities than that, but people tend to change a lot as a helper.
