Lightsabers: Which one is the most effective?

Title says it all. In combat and strategy terms, which lightsaber would be the most effective? I'm just posting this for star wars fans. I don't really have a favorite one, but I'd like to see all your opinions!

The choices are:

Crossguard (Kylo Ren's lightsaber type)

Dual-phase (Count Dooku/Darth Vader's)

Standard (Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon/Luke Skywalker)

Double-Bladed (Darth Maul)

Underwater (Used by jedi... well... y'know, underwater.)

Lightwhip (A whip... thats a lightsaber)

And the Z6 riot control baton wouldn't be a lightsaber, but a weapon that can fight it, similar to a vibroblade.

 

Lotta geek talk going on here... I FINALLY FIT IN!!!! I've always personally liked the double bladed lightsaber, but without proper training beforehand, I'd probably cut every limb on my body off.

I added the lightwhip, but I decided to keep the Z6, because although it may not be a lightsaber, it can counter it and it is similar to a lightsaber

I thought I would elaborate on this, The dual phase is a rare type of lightsaber that can reach up to 3 metres in length. They also had the ability to carry different crystals, and alternate between them at the user's discretion.

 

Z6 should be removed, it is literally a baton that can fight light sabers. Light sabers can slice through metal and dismember limbs

 

Please add every other weapon that can counter a lightsaber and is similar to a lightsaber.
Also, do semi-unique lightsabers work? Because I love the darksaber to death because of the references from KOTOR.

Kylo Ren's lightsaber is horrible. The whole reason it has the "crossguard" is because it is unstable and needs to vent the extra energy. There are so many things that could easily disrupt it.

 

Not to mention that if your hand slips just a tad then you lose ur fingers.

I'd take the standard saber in blue because it's really versatile in battle and can be used for practical things like opening an iron door. Also anikin used the blue saber and he's cute af

 

I take back what I said about the lightwhip. It is the best when combating other lightsaber users but most of the other ones have their own uses too. i.e. Underwater being best for underwater duels and standard lightsabers good for defense and fighting off multiple enemies at once.
