Villagers

Now that villager zombies don't spawn from zombie spawners, villagers are much more rare. I was thinking perhaps /warp shop could sell villager spawn eggs for like 5-10k or that villager breeding can be re-enabled.

 

We are not re-enabling villager breeding, that could easily lead to infinite villager reproduction.

I agree that this is a problem because I'm guessing that most villages have been looted or claimed by now. (Like people are mapping the entire towny world)

Villager eggs could be a solution, but I'm not too sure that it will be worth the 5k to buy one...

Maybe like 3k.

 

No, if we allow people to buy eggs that spawn villagers they will need to be expensive. 10k at a minimum so it increases the value of villagers and maybe through that increases the value of their trades.

 

10k would be a good price imo

 

Maybe just adding a new way to cure zombie villagers, perhaps through a special item you need to craft, would be better than adding a new item to warp shop?

 

The issue is that there aren't any zombie villagers in the first place.

 

Just regular zombies then? And increase the rarity of the item.

I think it's possible where Vamp could change the possibility of a zombie villager spawning from a spawner from 0% to like 3%

 

Add a villager egg to 40% of the supply drops and that will keep the scarcity of them driven by the player economy

 

I'm in favor of adding them to shop but they should be $20k each. I'd hope iron farms are not disabled. If villagers cannot repopulate then Iron farms would hardly appear anyway and they are slow enough not to cause any damage to the iron prices. Let's face it they will never be as common as the old Meep where every town has one. If not added into shop then eggs should be in the Wild supply drops.

 

I think iron golem spawn rates are nerfed to the point that iron golem farms are ineffective (if they kept the same plugin as Gamma)
