When did you join Meepcraft? November 2012

Introduction: Hi my name is Lucas, I'm 15 years old and I live in Geneva. I am fluent in both French and English. I coach basketball for younger kids, and I study biochemistry in the town's local highschool. I used to work as a Subway employee but quit for scholar purposes. I joined Meepcraft in November 2012 but had to quit for a while due to my studies failing.

Why should you be Helper? Experience

I don't have any experience being staff, and to be honest this is quite scary. But I do believe Meepcraft does need another staff member in my time zone, as when I usually come on, there isn't any staff or if there are, they most of the time leave my modreqs unawnsered. I don't have experience as a staff member but I do have experience around the different commands of the server, having been playing since a long time. My experience being a basket ball coach for young teenagers/kids taught me how to interract and get along with them, which is a plus. In my past job as a Subway employee I learned to deal with angry and frustrated customers and serve them with a good attitude, wich made me matture me alot.

Worth ethic
When I start a job, I give my living soul into making it as good as possible. I am dedicated to do something right when I do it. I see my staff position as a basket ball game: I will give my best until the end.

Dedication
I have been playing on Meepcraft since 2012 and it has helped me in my lowest times and for that I am forever thankful. I plan to continue playing Meepcraft for as long as I can.

Attitude
In the time that I've been playing Meepcraft, I've always kept a positive attitude and was always willing to help.
My attitude is my best quality.

What are your weaknesses? I have 2 main weaknesses:
The first one is that my English is not superbe, as my mother tongue is French. It is not horrible but I often do Typos.
The second one is that I can have mood swings when something isn't quite going well for me, but that usually isn't a problem as I logoff when that happens.
Nevertheless, I plan to work on both these weaknesses in the future.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: School and my family must come first, but that does not mean I will be inactive. Also, I would like you to know that I have been banned for using hacks (X-Ray) back in 2012 in Meepcraft Factions.

 

I definitely think you can be a really awesome staff member but first get to know people. We have good staff right now and we don't need more. I suggest to prove to us that we need you as staff and then apply again soon!

May I ask what you edited in your application?

Edit: Timezone is a big plus

 

I like you, you seem like a good person. Your application is honest, but shows your dedication and good features. I wish you luck. Hopefully the forums doesn't pull you apart, because I like what I read.

I haven't gotten to know you well (because of my inactivity in game) but I see that many people like you, which is a good sign feel free to shoot me a message here or on discord! Anyway, I do think that you can be a potential staff member in the future, but not now.

Your application was very modest and fine, however I need more on what you can do than just modreqs in a different time zone. Like @Lady_Hestia said, Meepcraft currently has a large staff team and in my opinion, we do not need to accept many others unless they possess abnormal qualities that help the server, whether it may be communication, leadership, or positivity. I think you need to work more to make your application more detailed and developed if you were to apply in the future. Keep in mind that staff work is not just taking modreqs and saying Welcome to Meep.

I also understand and respect you that you value family and real life first, as all of us should, however I am afraid that you need to increase your activity, especially in forums here and discord. There are always so many friendly meepers you can talk to and have fun! (Just don't procrastinate)

But please, let me explain the mood swings.
I miss formulated it, it's rather the fact that I can get pretty mad when someone pushes me (but it has to be quite far). But for the past year I haven't had any problem. Sorry for misformulating that sentence.
As for the playing hours, I would like to point out that the hours are not per week but per day.

Well, you seem to be kind and fit for the role, I haven't seen you much in-game but that is my fault since I haven't been on much. Your weaknesses don't seem as if they will hold you back from doing your job too much, and if you need help with English you can ask any other staff member to re-phrase or explain what was said, and remember there is nothing to be afraid of. Hi Riri. Your app is very good and honest. It seemed to me like you didn't really have any other pluses other than the fact that your time zone is different than other staff. Personally I think the staff team is way too big considering how many active players we have. You seem really nice, but I don't think I've ever seen you online (probably because of timezone).
