I have an idea for a new perk

My idea is called /jukebox or /juke or /music, pretty much the idea is for like exclusive+ where if you use the command then you pick the name of the mc disc or the number and it plays. It would look something like this


/jukebox (disc name) play
Example /jukebox 12 play

 

This is interesting! I'm assuming it's just playing for you, not anyone else, sort of like /ptime?

I like this idea if a plugin for it already exists, otherwise, I don't think this is worth the while of techs.

This would in fact be simple to code, as it simply would use the /playsound command at the player's location.

 

Unless I am misunderstanding your idea for something else, I do believe there is something similar in accepted: /radio

But yea, +1, I like the idea, even if it is a repeat.

 

But the tech's are very busy and they need to be working on more important things that are needed.

 

Difficulty to implement is not a reason to not +1, if the staff/techs don't think they can implement it or think it's unecessary they will deny it. +1/-1 is to gauge whether or not the community likes the idea, not on how easy it is to implement.

Looks like /radio was archived, so I don't think that one will ever be implemented.

It is certainly possible to create this feature, however I agree with many of the previous comments that it's not really a high priority feature and there are more important things for us to focus on.

The only way I see this being implemented in the near future is part of a huge donor perks update, where other, similar small perks are added (/gadget?).
