Introduction: Hi! My name is Cuddly! I am a 11 year old girl and I live in the USA and I have an older brother. I am an international child and travel to a lot of different places in the summer. I love animals and have a female Norwegian Forest Cat named Artemis A.K.A. Artemis the Huntress. I enjoy being social and I like being nice to other people because 1. It makes me feel good about myself and 2. It makes the other person feel good about themselves and maybe more confident! I enjoy being active too, I am learning Russian, and play the trombone! Meepcraft feels like a second family.

Why should you be Helper? Well I love people and being social! And I feel I could help make the community even better (though it already is fabulous) and be kind to every person who talks to me and I will try to help anyone.

What are your weaknesses? I can't be online that much and though I do love people and being social I am sometimes shy. I would alway try to help a person though sometimes I don't know what should be done about something and need help.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I usually go on a big trip every summer. This year it will be 17 days long and I most likely won't be able to come online during that period. And I am still in school and won't be able to come on on school days usually.

 

Sorry, but it looks like I'm going to be a -1 on this app. Your introduction is longer than all other sections combined, which doesn't bode well when combined with the fact that you copied and pasted your "Why?" section into your weaknesses (and it doesn't actually answer the question of what your weaknesses are). You are not very active on forums (seems like you waited until you had five posts to apply, I would suggest at least a few tens more), and I feel like you shouldn't have applied until your trip was over - although you can schedule an inactivity for personal reasons whilst on the staff team, it'd be better to apply once a few hours of your foreseeable time can be spent on MeepCraft.


Lastly, are you sure you meant to type Cuddly? Is that your first name?

 

I'm sorry, Cuddly, but despite your enthusiasm in this application, I have to go with a -1.

Your intro tells a bit about yourself, which is good. But the Why section doesn't tell me much. The only thing you've said so far is that you enjoy being social and you'll be kind to everyone...

you need to have a bit more than just that in your application.

Your weaknesses is just a copied and pasted paragraph from your "Why" section. That tells me either you're lazy or you didn't know what they meant.

Hey there Cuddly!

I loved your introduction! It's impressive that you are learning foreign languages that early (the earlier, the better ). However, I have several concerns that you could take into consideration:
1. Your application was very short and vague - Your introduction was good, but your strengths and weaknesses lack much detail. I suggest you to check out the wonderful application guide by Courtney here. Also, if you have additional time, check out the tips by LordInateur here. There are a lot of things you can improve on the application, so spend time on it!
2. Your activity - You currently have 7 posts and 14 likes right now on forums. I am not sure if I have seen you much on discord or in game (maybe because I'm the one that's inactive), however I'm sure that you can start being more involved in the community and apply later
3. Your skills - I do not see what skills you have that you can contribute to the server, whether it may be work ethic, communication, and/or leadership. You need to be different from other people to get accepted.
4. Your weakenesses - I'm sure shyness and activity isn't just your weaknesses. You need to explain how you are working to improve your weaknesses, along with more detailed explanations.

I am going to be at a -1 right now but I hope you can improve on those points and reapply in the future!

 

Thanks for the Feedback Natsu! I mean now that I look at my application I can see it needs A LOT of improvements and I am not expecting to be accepted, though I will try again in the future and hopefully in the near future I will maybe get accepted

 

Hey Cuddly, sadly it is a -1 for me. I can see that you really are wanting to be a staff member, but there is a couple of things wrong for both the app and other factors.
1. The App
In the app, it is best to do a fair bit to add to it. Some good ideas is to really extend on the introduction. As in, add in something you're into (gaming, sports, past-time, and so on), even how you found this server and more onto it. Why is considered to be the most important part of the entire app. Go on about some things you can help to benefit the server. Weaknesses are more on some problems that could occur or affect you as a staff (and also add in what you would do to prevent it). And lastly any information is good and doesn't really need to be worked on.
2. Discord and Site:
It is required of you to be quite active in these areas as well as in-game. So improve on and be just a bit more active in these parts, is a better way to get yourself out there.
3. Good in-game:
Excluding those above, I find you a pretty good person, so please don't take it too seriously. All the ways to improve.

Thank you for responding! I like seeing what different people think about my application. I will not let it discourage me as in the near future I will be trying again for sure! I just didn't show it in the way I wanted to and that is okay, I mean I can always try again

Anywayssss Cuddly you are super nice and active and a great staff in Legend! However you application was lacking, you really need to show yourself on the application because some may not have seen you in game and want to get to know how you are through your application.

 

Even though you are a great peraon, I feel like you still lack some qualities a helper needs. My vote is going to be neutral on this app,since I dont just see room for improvement, but also that you are willing to accept the feedback and improve. Best of luck! The way you are handling the feedback on this application is showing great maturity, which is really good!

A lot of people already mentioned it, but your app is lacking. Look at Courtney's helper guide, it has a ton of helpful hints for writing and application.

I do not support you getting an interview on this application, but in the future that could easily change.

(My only thing i'll say: be warned, staff tend to be a target of mean comments and harsh critisism, so you need to be able to just shrug all that off to be a staff member!)

It seems like you are a great kid - But I think the server should be more selective in their staff ranks than they have traditionally in the past especially when you take in the lower than average playerbase on. Even those with Australian time zones would be more beneficial than the standard USA timezone.

 

Kitten I enjoy talking to you on Discord, and I respect the heck outta ya for saying good morning and good night every day. But, and this comes with aging/maturity, being staff isn't all dandelions and roses just helping people with a smile. You have to be opinionated and think about long-term things, otherwise you'll just be a sad rock at the bottom of the ocean. You'd deal with a heck of a lot of hate just for being your age (isn't that nuts! like, you can't help it!!). If you really think you're ready to spend hours arguing with people and occasionally getting a thank you, then you might be ready. I don't think that's you, but who knows! There's more to a person than just an application, I suppose.

But luckily, that's just staff. As a player, Meep loves kids like you. You are the coal to the fire of a community. You lift people's spirits and remind them the innocency of a child. SO, don't let the -1's get to ya pal. It just isn't meant to be right now.

(also, it's totally cool to reply to people on your app. you do you girl!)

 

Cuddly, you're an absolute pleasure to play with. It's refreshing to see someone who likes cats (nearly) as much as I do, and you go out of your way to work with people, as well as check how they're doing. You're very active in game and on Discord, but I'd really like to see you on forums more, with a bit stronger of an app (see Pseudo's comment, and the applications guide), and then I think you'd do very well on the team.
