I Have been thinking and it would be nice if a player did not have to always join towns to be in a Safe place but what if they could rent a Spot/area for them to Build in that Area that they are renting and then once they are done renting it. All that stuff that they Modified gets cleared without a traced. There is a Plugin Called Area Shop I was testing it out it is not what I am really thinking about but it gives an Example.

Not Just Staff could use it but Players too and it only works in Town and a Plot you only own and for Town owners, they can place it where ever. This Would Help Players make money Renting out a Part of there Plot to People. While also Protecting that Persons Belongs and not allowing the Owner of this Rented out plot to just Remove it while someone is renting it out so there is not Theifed happing. You could charge someone for making an area and allow a Max price to be able to charge and also allow someone to see How much it cost to rent it out.

If you Think this is a Good Idea give +1

If you think it is a bad idea -1

If you got any Suggestions to build on this Idea Write down Below.

By the Way please no Name calling or Just being mean about it.

Personally, I think this would be a waste of time. Although it is a good idea, I honestly don't think it would really 'fit'.

If a player is moving their stuff from one town to another without losing their plot in the process, they use embassies. Embassies are plots which are owned by another player outside of the town. And if we add this idea into the server, then there goes half the purpose of embassies (although I'm not sure if anyone still tries that method. Haven't played in a while).

Unless there's a better reason to add this, I'm staying at a -1.

So, wait, what's the difference between this and embassies, where you would just sort of "rent" from a different town? And, with the towns that have plot taxes, you sort of already "rent" your plot anyways... so I'm not really seeing the difference between your suggestion and what we already have.

I mean this is literally how the plot system works, and then items get "Cleared without a trace" what do you say to new players who lose all their stuff because they were unaware of the rent system

...why would this be beneficial in any way?

I did not know how the Embassy's work but this would be able to be placed on one plot Multiple times. You have a Tool to make a designated spot pretty much how Admins/Mods use world Guard. But Now I know that there are Embassy's maybe this idea would not be great.

Embassies are a plot type used in towny which allows players outside of your own town to claim a plot, and they have a separate tax from other plot types.
